im not shallow either thats why i also believe that america is an absolute utopia, not a complete disgrace, and it couldn't possibly be anyhting in between. good to know that there are other people who think in black and white like i do
Technically (and that's the key word here) they are from "some other country". With the exception of Darron Malakian, all the other members were born in the Middle East then moved to America. Some of them may have been very young when they came to America but they were still citizens of Middle Eastern countries before they came here.
Fasooliful Hopefully, There aging but i hope they can pull of some more albums. Because they were the first band i ever listened to, literally my mom Blasted it in her house.
Ok, guys, Calm down. You all have valid points. Yes America definietly has it's problems. We have alot of overweight people, and I wouldn't neccessarily say I "trust" the government. But there are good people here too, even though sometimes they're hard to find. But it's like that in every country, you've got good people and rude people, and stupid people, and smart people. All kinds of people. But don't put down a whole country just because the rude stupid people, are the ones you remembered.
@bnikolab This may be a surprise, but I will concede on the first point, and apologize. I am sorry I mistook a typo for something more serious. However; I DID, in fact, read what you said, and your tone of superiority was quite clear, so I stand by what I said about stereotyping. You come acrossed as being just as prejudiced as everyone else.
Actually 2 of them are Armenian, 1 American, 1 Lebanese, and 1 Iranian or Iraqi (I forget which and I'm too lazy to look it up) and System of a Down started making music here in America in California.
@bnikolab Very well. I allowed a more level-headed friend I trust greatly to look over your message. While she said she could see why I arrived at my conclusion, in the end she said she believed I had misread your words. So I will swallow my pride and admit my mistake. I was wrong, and formally apologize.
Well... I agree with you, up until you said that "We should help the poor". BEFORE YOU DISLIKE, let me finish. A lot of poor people are drug addicts who choose to be homeless, and are too lazy to work. So I guess in a way, you're right about Americans. And no, not ALL homeless people are drug addicts or alchoholics, a lot are innocent people with families who didn't deserve it.
and moved out of state. I have applied for pretty much every job I was qualified for but I'm still stuck here because there is no where else to go and I only have this job because I did odd jobs for the owner prior to getting it. Have you ever known an able-bodied person on welfare? No? Well you should know that being on welfare practically is a job with all the meetings and shit you have to do to keep your benefits. I know for a fact they force you to put in 20 job applications per week.
what part of America are you from if you cannot see what is going on around you? and yes...i am proud American but being proud of your country doesn't mean you have to be blind.
speaking of the debt...that wouldn't be a problem if we legalized the use of hemp, we'd be able to make enough money to pay off our debt in a couple of years. And notice I said hemp, not mirjuana, I couldn't care less about Marijuana, HEMP is the cash crop we need.
@deadwolflocke Apology accepted. And yes, I behave superior to those kind of people, in this case American, who can't even write properly, and yet he asks why do we attack America or why do we say Americans are stupid. And I haven't said every American is stupid, of course not, generalisation is for ignorant people, and I believe I'm not one of them.
well i dont see the brits coming to my country with guns to counter attack "terrorists", or showing me his country flag in my face beliving he is better than me.
Australia, with 27 million people.... America 270 million..... our currency is now higher than yours.... "Were a superpower in tha U.N." exactly, were.........
That may be but the dollars in America are provided by a commercial company that 'loans' the money to America and asks for interest. Therefor, no matter how much income you have, the money you have is the debt. To pay it back you need to somehow get money that wasn't provided by a commercial business. America does not have that..
Ummmmmmmmmm, I guess Ill add to this discussion by saying that the lyrics of this song can be interpreted in many different ways. In a direct way or with your own personal views formulating an opinion of what the lyrics could mean.
What does hair colour have to do with a soul....I dont understand how something that you could have no controll over could affect having a soul or not.
oh and you want to know how i know this? well, I'm going to enlist in the military. My father was a cop. he was an amazing man and treated everyone like a real person. even people he arrested would call him and say " I was just here and so-and-so did such-and-such thing, what should i do?" my own father is proof and he taught me to believe that most police aren't abusive. so please come to America, see how we work and live and strive here. then go home and write a hateful or thankful comment.
the electric heavy guitars and Serjs vocals are the most genius combination i ever heard in rock music , he truly brought something new and original .

Fasooliful Ya there a great band :)
Welll... I came from the other video with the jazz music, and I am disappointed because this does not have any audio at all.

You may not realize it but every other country is exactly the same.
@SecondSackSox I know that song. :D
Yeah, right, Americans don't think they're best. I learn something new everyday.
Daron's voice makes a kind of "sex effect" at 2:24 I can't explain it in another way!
what part of America are you from if you cannot see what is going on around you? and yes...i am proud American but being proud of your country doesn't mean you have to be blind.
Blind will be blind. Simple as that.
