So glad to upgrade my shocks and springs gaining 3cm front and rear. Most important is that i got rid of the ballooning while driving and the looks are cool!!!

with part numbers 339253 339254 front and 340060 rear.
Sir would you help me! i cant find this mentioned number shocks front and rear is there any other mitsubishi car shocks that i can install in this without any modification thanks i mean can we install lancer front and rear shocks is it same? Thanks.

Ελατήρια έχω βάλει και εγω μπρος και πίσω. Άλλο αμάξι. Όπως θα έπρεπε να είναι. Και το ύψος δεν επιρρεασε την σταθερότητα γιατί έσφιξε.
@@samair77 Ευχαριστω πολυ! Θα το τολμησω στο asx. Παντως μηχανικος μου ειπε οτι θα χασω σταθεροτητα στον αυτοκινητοδρομο με πανω απο 120χλμ λογω περισσοτερου αερα απο κατω. Σου ευχομαι τα καλυτερα κ περιμενω νεο βιντεο με τα πρωτα χιονια... 😉

Can you please tell me more about new references regarding steering alignment ? How did you do this service, what was your new references? And how about the car behavior (instability, tendency to roll over, shock absorver reaching upper stop, etc)? I am thinking to do the same service in my car and your information will be useful.

Καλημέρα φίλε. Ήμουν αρκετά ευχαριστημένος όταν το είχα, οποτε θα είμαι αντικειμενικός . Εκτός δρόμου, ανάλογα τι ζητάς. Για απλα και ομορφες δια τιμές ειναι ιδανικό. ( δες και τα αλλα μου βίντεο να καταλάβεις). Βάλε καλό λάστιχο εκτός δρόμου και ψήλωσε το όπως και εγω.
Κατανάλωση σε σχέση με την δύναμη του μπορώ να πω ότι είναι πολύ ικανοποιητική. Περίπου 7-8 λίτρα στα 100.
Από προβλήματα τίποτα σοβαρό. Είναι καλό αμάξι. Ότι και να βγάλει είναι σε λογικά πλαίσια.
Το 1.8 να βρεις να πάρεις.

@@samair77 σε ευχαριστώ φίλε η αλήθεια είναι ότι ήθελα το βιταρα το πετρέλαιο αλλά κόλλησα μόλις μου είπαν ότι φοράει μοτέρ φιατ και δεν τα ξέρω καθόλου τα φιατ γιατί τώρα έχω το grandvitara 1.6 και δεν ξέρω τι σημαίνει συνεργείο αλλά με έχει πεθάνει στην βενζίνη

bluebishi friend it fits. It’s the same. Just go to h&r website and find 28805-1 code for springs as described in the video. Shock are easy and you have more options! Enjoy

I have just had mine done exactly the same and the diffence it has made is amazing. The old suspension units had no life left in them. 2010 1.8 diesel 150 hp 4x4. It has 17 inch tyres, what is the tallest profile I can now fit please?
Edwin Collins hi my friend. I’m happy you live it. If you have 17” you go one size up only. If now you have 215/60/17 you can go 225/60/17. Depending on which country you are you might find 215/65/17 but I I wouldn’t recommend.
225/60/17 will give the tire a bit of width and around half cm tall. Enjoy !!!
@@samair77 thank you. I am in Crete where the roads are not too good. I am after more rubber in the profile to soak up the pot holes. If it was not for your video it would have cost me a great deal more for Mitsubishi original suspension parts and the H&R springs already give me a little more ground clearance. Thank you again.

@@samair77 i have mounted the same kit of springs, shock absorber and tires. Its amaizing, great improvment. And like you said the suspension turn to be a bit more hard. Im very happy. I also mounted an engine sump guard in steel and now im really prepared to attack the off road 😂

Oh! I've been looking at a lift from Rocky Road Outfitters. They have a lift that fits Jeep Patriot/compass and Dodge Caliber. My RVR was built in the same factory and shares a similar platform. The underbelly is nearly the same. Control-arms are the same to the best of my knowledge, and the camber adjustment arms should fit too.

I’m about to get these H&R springs, I’d like to know what the ride comfort is like compared to stock. They’re not progressive rate springs, so are they much more harsh?
Also I’m thinking of putting in the Bilstein B4 front and rear, but the KYB are much cheaper - how is the ride quality of the KYB, and are they tough enough for dirt tracks?
Lastly, do you need to do any other suspension mods like mounts, bushes etc, or can only the KYB/H&R be fitted and not cause any problems?
Ronan Rogers hello. First of all thanks for passing by. They are a bit harsh but for that reason I modified my KYBs by changing the oil inside with a higher viscosity oil. I wouldn’t recommend B4s as they say are more soft. It turns out that with these springs you need hard shocks to cope with the hard springs otherwise after a while the shocks get a to soft and the car sits only on spring which is not good. The tire is stiffer than original but believe me you’ll appreciate it in corners. Off road are acceptable. No other mods needed. Just a wheels alignment. It’s good though to consider bigger wheel offset. Mine was 46 and now it’s 38. Huge difference. I hope I helped
SamAir77 thanks so much for your quick reply and good knowledge. I’ll go with KYB. They’re easier to find in Australia than Bilstein B4, which i need to import from the EU to get an ok price, and even then if I have a problem I won’t be able to return them due to freight costs.

Αλλά έχω ένα πρόβλημα, όταν στρίβει το τιμόνι τα ελατηρια κινούνται περιστροφικα πάνω στη βάση δημιουργώντας θορυβούς. Το κανουν και τα πίσω. Ο μηχανικός μου λέει ότι είναι πολύ σκληρά για το αυτοκίνητο.. είχατε εσείς κάποιο παρόμοιο πρόβλημα.?

If you are driving an asx 4wd or some other places called it as outlander sport, this set of spring is worth to upgrade. You will feel much better stability, less body roll, no more ballooning effect, smoother ride. Highly recommended. And thanks for Samair77, I have found this thing because of your video.

hey , replace the shock with new ones but in the front i install shocks from outlander , they are stiffer in front and i wanted to reduce body roll . body rolling reduced but the only problem now is that the car became stiffer and you notice all road anomalies . am thinking about a coilover set but nobody can answer me if i can reach the factory height without lowering the car.
any ideas?

I want to use strut spacers to lift my asx 4 cm, so I purchased some and went to have them installed at my local mechanic and was told that the spacers would throw the car out of alignment and would not be able to be realigned properly, I was also told that it would cause my brand new geolanders A/T tires to wear out in less than six months, as well as ruin ball joints and lower control arms. so I told him to forget it because I was worried I would have to constantly be replacing tires and suspension.
so im just wondering if this is true? did you have any problems lifting your asx ? or should I forget what he says and install them ?
Ryan Carey Boychuk it’s kinda true because 3cm is the max. 4cm will cause problems. I know it sounds strange but it’s true.
Nice video! Do you have any idea what to do if the rear height are unequal like driver's side is slower than the passenger side? Talking about stock shocks and springs. What do u think needs to be adjusted? About half an inch difference between both sides. Thanks

No man I wouldn’t recommend because you’ll ha be camber problems and this stability issues. Off course you can change all the links below t he car and fix it but th is not a good investment for this car. Remember it’s just a good crossover. Not hard core off road machine. My opinion. Thank you

I have a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander GT USA version. I NEED to upgrade or use these on the car. Rear suspension looks weak, I need it higher and stiffer. I could do the four wheels. Can I use the same set up for the regular outlander or is there a different setup?

@@DenisasPupkevicius : the result is good. It is compatible with original shock absorber. Could be better with upgrade absorber I think. My car is using 17" Evo 8 rims with tyres 225/55 R17, it feels much stable than stock spring plus much comfort than stock spring. I know is sounds weird with stable and comfort for after market spring, but i can tell you, you will not regret.

What, found the springs on eBay, and the description is deceiving - lowering springs! Then later down the specs it says lowering (+) 30mm
Wookiemonsterfreak I know. They are Germans. Hahaha. Believe me they are rising springs. I contacted them before purchasing. Talk to them too
Wookiemonsterfreak and just to make it clear. The springs rise the car not the shocks. Be aware.
This is on my list. I ordered up the KYBs and to my surprise, they arrived the next day!! Bang on! I had a leaky one, so it got changed last night. It's obvious the tears need to be changed too. So, I will finish the front and order up tears soon. Then!! Spring time!! This is great! I'm considering a small spacer in the rear, just to get the back up for looks. I know it might strain the front breaks and change the over all handling, but it's worth a try for the look. I'll have to post when I'm through! Thanks for sharing this!
The rear struts are on the way and I ordered up the springs. Stay tuned. I'll link a vid post of the project.

@@samair77 Oh perfect. I haul my dirt bike around on the back of mine. The stock rear suspension is almost bottomed out with it on there haha. Would be awesome if this set up relieved that!

This is great! I contacted KYB America and they were no help at all finding me a set up. I have oversized tires and in need of new struts, this height would help a lot. Plus, I find the butt kinda saggy. A little lift would be awesome. Do you have more info on the springs?

Hi, i have a Mitsubishi ASX 1.8 Di-D 150ps from 2011, but its not the 4WD.
Is it the same as yours? If not, will the springs work out for mine aswell?

I always feel some kind of ballooing while driving and i would like to get rid of it, make it more stable. My shock absorbers getting changed and i would like to change them springs too, if they help with the ballooing. But now i wonder if the ballooing that I feel is the same that you are talking about.
And i think I like this car a bit taller and bigger. I'm thinking of changing them Wheels for some bigger ones too.

I have a 2018 outlander Sport LE 2.0L. When driving at highway speeds and taking a slight corner while hitting a bump it feels like it wants to jump over to the next lane. Even driving on city roads and cornering it feels unstable. Would changing the shocks and springs help or do I have another problem?

David Cortes I know my friend but this car comes from the factory with this all around setup. Only kayaba shocks are available for a small amount of money in conjunction with H&R springs to give you that extra little something you need from the car. Once I did it I’d never go back

So, it's done! I got the springs and the struts installed. Thanks for your Vid here. Visually, there's not a dramatic difference, but the ride is so much better. I did it in stages, so I got to feel the ride change. I did the front struts first, then ordered up rear struts. Later the springs came and I did the rear first. Amazing how much difference I felt sitting in the driver's seat with the rear lifted just a little bit. I liked it. Later, I did the front and evened it out. I have to say, I miss the rear lift feel. Though now, everything is stiffened up and thankfully my bottoming-out ride in and out of my drive way and up my country road is over! These springs feel much better than stock for the kind of roads I drive.
These suit my over-sized tires too. With my old tires suspension, I couldn't get my foot on the rear tires to step up to tie down gear to my rooftop basket. Now, thats not a problem at all.
The car has been revitalized with girth, and feels a lot better.
Question!! Did you find the camber adjustment way off, or have to make any serious adjustments?
I'm going to break these springs in a bit then get a reading to see where my alignment is sitting.

Wookiemonsterfreak what size of tires you got ??
SamAir77 - I have 235/60 R18 on there, but only because I have a set of Eclipse rims that are 8 inch wide. Before these I had 235/55 R18 and they looked great. I wanted a little more side wall to smooth out the ride and cushion the rims. I took a chance. I read the max is 225/60 R18. OEM is 225/55 R18. They do rub, and as i was afraid of, they rub even more with the new lift springs. I don't recommend this set up, though the springs did frame in these oversized wheels nicely.
I am going to hit the plastic wheel wells with a heat gun, and I will let everyone know how the set up works after that. A few millimeters clearance is all I need. A little heat and a push in on the plastic, might make it work. Its not so bad as is, but makes that annoying sound when turning the wheel hard and even worse with the small lift.
Once I do a few more cosmetic fixes and maybe a set of rear spaces, I will post a vid of the finishing results. I will have to get a shot of mine nose to nose with another OEM stock RVR.
