- This video describes the Turns Ratio Test (TTR) of transformer in detail. The procedure for performing TTR test of transformer in delta and star configurations in explained. The analysis/interpretation of the TTR results is carried out.
Thank you sir. Your video had 1hr of info jammed packed into 6mins. Truly appreciate it.
Your explanation is very very much clear and understandable. I cannot hesitate to subscribe
Thanks for the compliment. Keep in touch for more practical videos.
Best explanation

Great video!
Thanks for appreciation.
Ur videos help me a lot ,nice explanation sirr
thanks for your valuable comment. more videos will be uploaded soon
I turned on subtitles and everytime you say major faults it corrects the words to farts hahaha
thank you for the videos though i am studying to become an electrician
Pronunciation issue with subtitles :) . You are welcome BTW. Hopefully this channel helps you in understanding Electric concepts well.
thanks ticher 👏

TTR test for transformer one of major invergating test transformer with OLTC whenever maintenance on OLTC before and after maintenance on OLTC TTR is performed to compare the result and check the functionility of OLTC up to the mark before put in to services
Thanks for your nice explaining
But the equation of erorr I think it well be (actual value - calculate valu) /calculate value*100
The result will be same in both cases and same for percentage error. The positive or negative sign does not matter as we are just looking for deviation from the standard value.
Very Helpful thank you

Can u explain that in both cases when TTR increases or TTR decreases ,cause is same for both that there is shortage or insulation failure on LV or primary side?
Good job brother
thanks
if on result AB/ab it means HV and LV winding both are connected with TTR b/w phsae if AB/an then LV will be divied on sqtr 3
in y connection if TTR is connected between two phase ther no need to divied the Y connect side on sqrt 3

When doing TTR test, Does The Transformer have to be in energized state or not? Thank you.
The transformer needs to be de-energized and isolated from rest of the system for TTR test.
Good sir or जादा vidio banhihe sir
Thanks. More videos coming soon.
Kindly make more & more video

Hello. Which instruments do you recommend with the following specifications
1.BATTERY OPERATED TRANSFORMER RATIO METER PWR1-3B (SPEC; Three phase, battery operated, ratio range from 8 to 2500, fully automated measurement, measuring voltage 10V / 100V selectable, The DISPLAY shows- Ratio, Phase-angle, Excitation Voltage, Magnetising current. 7). Easy to read large LC display for all 3 phases with backlight 8) Built-in printer . 9) A robust case for field use.
2.PORTABLE OIL DILECTIC STRENGTH TEST SET AUTOMATIC OIL INSULATION TESTER (OTS 60A/80A/100A) with the following spec: 1) fully automatic microprocessor based. 2) Preprogrammed International test standards. 3)Customized test sequences. 4)upgraded sequence as per IEC60156-201. 5) Suitable to test Mineral, Easter and Synthetic Oil. 6) Internal Memory for 100 Test results. 7)USB Interface. 8) Inbuilt Thermal Printer. 9) Voltage checker for onsite Calibration. 10) Bluetooth connectivity via Motware Ap.

Character In the video It's great, I like it a lot $$
Thanks for appreciation.
SIR turns ratio PRIMARY BY SECONDARY OR SECONDARY BY PRIMARY IT IS DIFFERENT IN DIFFERENT BOOKS
It can be both ways. depends upon the manufacturer of the testing set. Some test sets calculate Primary to Secondary while others calculate Secondary to Primary but the end result is the comparison between the actual TTR and calculated one.
