My man kept it together, stayed in time, kept the formation, made a lil "yeah well . ;) " head nod.... This is no fail. This man overcame adversity and nailed it.
We had four bari's each year I was in h.s! It was awesome. Only two ever marched them. I couldn't march it though due to the weight and we did a fast carry entrance like the Michigan State band (early 2000s). I loved marching alto but was soooo geeked when I got to get back in the Bari section lol.
As the mom of a former marching band kid, this young man would have gotten into trouble if he would have stopped during the drill. These kids work incredibly hard and put in many long hours to perfect their routines - great job, buddy!
He wouldnt have gotten in trouble if he kept his pants up. I marched in HS and college for 8 seasons and trust me, its not that serious in practice.@@I_Tomato_Corn
I didn’t see it the first time either, I had to replay to see what I missed. At least he had another pair of shorts on. Also, he kept his composure and didn’t miss a beat (step). 👏
This would have been a fail IF he was using a Sousaphone. If he was, he wouldn’t have been able to hold his pants, and keep playing at the same time, because the hand he was using to hold his pants would have to be the one he uses to press down on the valves, allowing him to play the notes to the song. This isn’t a fail, he did good, he kept marching and stayed on beat. He did everything we’re supposed to do in marching band.
Respect for the Contra player. Kid probably preformed better than some of the Contras in DCI with his pants falling down. That isn't a fail that's a win.
There was this one time during practice our mellophone player ripped her pants. And our alto sax player would roll up the bottom of his shorts because he wanted the upper part of his leg tanned like the rest but it would be horrible because one time our mellophone wasn’t there and when I marched backwards for the first movement all I could see was so much of his legs😭
As someone who literally had their cargo shorts rip right down the backside before comp day rehearsal and had to march in them for a while exposed, I salute him. 🫡
🔥I would say that was #badass!🔥 Good for you sticking it all the way through. I'm telling you, if you march DCI, you'll be wearing alot less than that. Lol 🤣 Also sounds like they're at the end. That's a lot notes drumline. Hope you cleaned it up because it's a great ending.💚❤💚
