Purple Rain. Very cool.
Great fish
ALEX ON DARK OR OVERCAST DAYS USE PURPLE OR BLACK FLIES FOR THE SWING.. BOB..
Thanks!
Ive noticed your Snap T cast is a little cheesy bro, make your snap at your left hip, make your letter D and return to that hip. Bring your hands in an accelerating rising arc to ear level on your right side, and cast with your bottom hand once your D loop is formed. Your top hand is just a pivot point, your casting and power come from you bottom hand so dont let go with it. Hope you see this and find it useful
Yeah bro, self taught and sloppy AF!!
Thanks heaps for the tips...I’ll def take those on board and put some practice in to getting sharper.
Much appreciated. 🤙🤙
@@TrippinOnTrout hell yeah man, you've got it in you I can tell. Can't wait to see those long casts and more big fish
@@memeboi4173 It will be my main focus when winter rolls around again!!
Thanks again dude🤙
@@TrippinOnTrout best of luck brother 🤘
Excellent video buddy 🏴🐟🎣🙂
watch all of the excursions ...great fishing ...just dream of visiting before to long!
Thanks for watching bro. Appreciate it🤙
Amazing once again Alex. Love ya work💯
Nice one James. Cheers mate🤙
Awesome mate, love it! Great fish on the 2-hander!
I'm no expert, but if you kept your bottom hand on the handle and pulled down with it instead of casting with your top hand it'll greatly improve your cast. Beautiful fish! Trout spey is the shit!
That’s exactly what I need to do but years of single casting makes it hard to break those habits! I’ll keep trying..😅
Swinging is so fun. Only been swinging soft tackles so far but these videos are awesome! 🤙
Da swing is the thing!!
Size 10 strong grub hook, 4mm tungsten faceted silver bead, fire orange thread (tied under the bead to keep the bead up on top so the hook fishes point up), orange, pink or chartreuse UV resin, which is then veiled by clear antron which is wrapped around the tying thread and wound on, then trimmed to produce the appearance of an egg sac. The work and are very durable.
Thanks for the tip bro
Hi there another great show pal.watching you getting really involved in your new knife build was great to see. No mention though of the grade of the steel used ?.. One wee thing pal, Please stop letting go of the butt section of your swing rod as it’s very easy especially with a wet slippery rod handle for the rod to fly out of your hand. Enjoying your fun on the river and Friday bonus videos. Cheers and take care from Bonnie Scotland.
Thanks for the tip Andrew🤙
Sounds like just the sort of thing I would do!!
The swing is the thing! Don’t you love not needing space to back cast!
What’s not to love about it aye bro
Toujours un plaisir à regarder 👍🖐🍻
Nice one Alex, so cool your catching multiple nice fish on the swing 👊
Getting there bro. I see you have joined the dark side too...😏
Another great video. Love watching you fish as always. Smallmouth float next week and then next month going back to Arkansas to hopefully touch one of those "Gimungo Browns". Cheers Bro! Mike
Have fun there bro. As always, fire me pics of anything cool🤙
Love me some streamer fishing!! Great vid man!
Yeah you know how to work a streamer brutha. Love your vids too
@@TrippinOnTrout Thanks my man!
Hardman Fishing Adventures Keep doing your thing dude..👊
Great video, I just got a 11/4 swinging rod and have not caught a fish yet but it’s so much fun.
It will happen bro. Just keep at it!
Excelente amigo muy Linda pesca 🎣🐟🎣🐟🎣💪💪👍🤙🤙🤙 Saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱
👊
Swinging for those monsters is amazing so good.........
Yeah I’m all about it at the moment!!
great job on the vid, so much fun to watch you slay fish, those fish that you were catching were they steelhead?
Thanks man. Love to swing!! They are of Californian steelhead strain orginally yeah
Nice video man, pretty cool way of fishing. Pretty keen to buy myself a single hand Spey combo, something different to what I’m normally fishing with etc
Cheers bro.
Single Spey is a Wikid way to fish. Way easier to learn than the double hander too.
Still loving the knifey “special K” 👍 and the venison, plenty more where that came from.
What sort of steel was it again..?
Trippin On Trout O1 tool steel
Awesome man. Funny I bitch about taking two rods with me and you go and take three haha! Legendary
I take too much stuff!!!!😄
Can never take enough lol
Adrift Fishing That’s what she said...😆
😂 repetitively....
Its crazy it being winter there and everything is still green as here in oklahoma come late oct and nov everything turns brown and dies. Round how cold does it get there in the middle of yalls winters?
Not that cold really bro. Maybe -5 overnight in town.
Another great video & solid fish. How cold does the water get over there in the winter?
I’m guessing it might be around 4 or 5 degrees Celsius mate but that’s a total guess. 🤷♂️
Nice swinging. I love the casting but I struggle to get fish and when I do I drop them. Not sure why. Have to break the curse some time.
Maybe you are lifting the rod too early ..?
@@TrippinOnTrout maybe, I see you werrr getting them right at the end of the swing. Will try it next time.
Alex I see you using the Orvis Pro boots just got myself a pair but find them very ridged how long did it take you to wear them in??
I didn’t find them rigid at all bro. Just get some kms on em and they will wear in real quick
are you using a sinking tip on the swing rod?
Yes mate. Intermediate skagit line and S7 10ft tip
You know you are driving on the wrong side of the car, and road!
Nice one Alex.
It’s just how I roll...😄
Cheers Bruce!
Rigid
