I bare shaft tune each arrow to find the spine of each one. I may just buy a spine/backbone spinner to cut time out of setting up an arrow. I mark the backbone when I find it . Then from there I will line of my index vane with the line I made. Maybe a good Idea for a video!
I take a clean shaft and put a nock in both sides then float it in some soapy water and it will rotate the spine to the top and that is were your spine is and yes always put your index vane on the spine.
Yeah you can but i have seen some that was not rite but if you're arrow was shooting great before you change the vanes then i would say that the spine is aligned correctly.
+Samsworthwatching It's mainly for looks. However if you hunt or need to find your arrows wraps make it easier to find. Also makes your arrows quicker to fletch by eliminating the prep time for arrows. Thanks for asking!
+Trevor Lindenbaum That would be awesome. I would use the Hoyt grip, and put that on the Halon. Then make the halon a little lighter. I would steal the shootability option like the prodigy has in the cam system. I could go on and on lol
Yeah you might should make a vid about that seeing that you have alot of subscribers.i use soapy warm water and it will actually turn the spine up.but good video. have a good one.
A complete video but you don’t even mention putting the nock on which I am sure is a no brainer but if a person has never done any of it it is important,or where to start the first vein ect. Well back to the drawing board.
Another great video my friend. Just wrapped a arrow last week and I used a mouse pad to lay the arrow on it helped a lot u should try it
+Bentley Quirin I would but I don't have one laying around, but that's a great way to do it for sure!

how did you find you spine to line up your index vane too?that will make all the difference in accuracy.

Garrett Weaver Do you put the vane on the spine? Or better question how do you know where to install the first vane?

T.E.N. ARCHERY Can you just mark where the original vane came off and put it there?

Great video, what is the idea behind the wrap? Just for looks?

+Garrett Weaver So you like the jig you have? I am looking to fletch my own arrows with blazers and want to know what the easiest one to use is.
Got one question. How do you know how far too space out each vane from each other?
The jig does it all for you just have to use the correct setting for the diameter of the shaft
@@garrettweaver6605 Thanks Garrett loves the videos.
What kind of arrow is it?
Easton Axis start to finish
Sorry i did not the right question , axis 5mm, axis st?
Garrett you should design your own bow.

+Garrett Weaver true that
Funny, I've wanting to put a Hoyt grip on my Halon!

hey no problem guy if you have any questions i have my own channel so until then shootem straight.
if you use an old mouse pad when you put your wrap on it works better
Yeah you might should make a vid about that seeing that you have alot of subscribers.i use soapy warm water and it will actually turn the spine up.but good video. have a good one.
Thanks Thomas! I've seen that method of buddy of mine tried it as well. Have a good one as well!

How are you going to shoot an arrow without a nock? I did a newer arrow building video recently you may enjoy that one much more
