I love these shows! And no disrespect to Dick Sergeant who was a great actor, but I love the episodes with Dick York.
Elizabeth Montgomery looked extra beautiful in this clip.
Sweet couple in the beginning
darrin sure had fun on his interview
Cheryl Holdridge and her million dollar Mouseketeer smile.😊
I love bewitched
Hey Alyssa is this your Favorite show?
Bewitched made the Top ten tv shows of all time
@@christaleman2279 Yes
@@alyssamraz1599 well that’s good
So how are you doing today and how was your day?
@@christaleman2279 good trying to watch the reboot of charmed where I know samtha can take them down
My dad was a carrier-based jet pilot, and I doubt he had the guts to say to my mom “Why don’t you make some sandwiches?” Mom made the meals, cleaned the house, did most of the paperwork, and raised four kids - that was considered plenty back then (the sixties). Notice how The Brady Bunch had a maid? We didn’t. We also didn’t entertain much, and when we did, it was pretty low key.
I just think it’s interesting how things changed on TV from the sixties to the seventies. The idea of a wife’s job being to serve her husband kind of vanished in the seventies. It was a bit unrealistic in the sixties, and VERY unrealistic in the seventies.
I wonder if the “magical woman” trope (“I Dream of Jeannie”, “Nanny and the Professor” and “Bewitched”) was a response to changing gender roles. Those shows were funny, but they wouldn’t fly a decade later.
Liza's compliments and flattering remarks sure went to Darrin's head. After Liza left, Samantha set him straight. But the real trouble began the next morning with Liza dressed 👗 to the 9️⃣s and the alcohol 🍸 at the office 🏬. Then Samantha gets a visit from the boyfriend....
Do you know where someone can find the full episodes? I've been thinking I probably should just buy them from prime.

I remember Bewitched's favorite it was called the girl reporter who interviews him my boyfriend shows up
It’s a Mouskateer girl! :)
She after Darin 😄😄
That's what I thought.
Her name is Cheryl holdridge. She played the girl next door on a number of sitcoms from the fifties and sixties. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
In other words, THERE'S A RAT IN THE HOUSE!
@@harperstacey9604 Thanks for that info, Ms Harper Stacey❗ I knew I'd seen her in other sitcoms.
This episode is from the first season. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
Yes, I loved it both in black ⚫ and white 🤍 and the colorized version.
Everything you just said is something what we know.
I understand you think your opinion is more important than other's but you are more narcissistic than a hollywood celebrity. You are just stating facts at this point, you not even try to say something interesting or something what we don't know.
@@Zodroo_Tint the problem with you is you take everything so seriously. Just chill.
@@harperstacey9604 nah they're right though. And it's really weird how you write your whole name at the end of all of your comments like you're signing a letter 😆
The best season
Love Bewitched, my favorite!!! Use to come home, and watch it!!! I record only the one's with, Dick York, he's the best!!!! ❤❤❤.🌹🌹🌹🌹.....
Their clothes really date this show.
I LOVE the clothing from their earlier episodes.
Yes, dates it to a time when people actually showed self respect and respect for others in dressing
appropriately when leaving the house, unlike today where people can be seen wearing their pajamas in public.
@@jrcwwl I love the clothes, very modest.
In a good way!
@@gailwatson4927 I can't believe they are not wearing yoga pants.
Samantha is so embarrassingly jealous here!
I don’t think she is ‘embarrassingly’ jealous. I think Darrin’s behaviour is appalling: this is season 1 - they are newly married. Liza insists on first names Darrin shows little respect for his wife or her feelings, allowing Liza to sit so close, he clearly knows Liza is flirting and making Sam uncomfortable. My father never behaved that way with women ever, (my parents got married in 1966, so from this era). I think Darrin’s behaviour is incredibly disrespectful.
I don't think Samantha is jealous at all -- annoyed with Darrin's behavior is more like it. You could see 👀 her getting more annoyed with each passing compliment from Liza and Darrin's embarrassing reactions and remarks: "It's wonderful to have met you Darrin", and his reply, "It's wonderful to have ...." and stops when he realizes how stupid that sounded.
It's cute actually.
@@ddjr6673 If you want to see a real life couple turn off the television! Sitcoms have to be funny and this is the way to be funny. Samantha wasn't uncomfortable, she was just jealous.
Very pretty gal
She all over her man
Sam ih sarah
Fun scene. But Darrin is two-faced. He was prepared to spend the evening with Sam, until Liza called. Then was all business, again.
I love Sam's reaction, along with her snide remarks. But the scene after is a hoot. Sam expresses her suspicions about Liza and Darrin is impressed that she's attracted by an older man, one who doesn't look his age. Sam says, "Vanity, thy name is human." Darrin says, "What's wrong with being human? At least I'm not a ..." Sam, "A what?" And she starts popping around the room. Darrin did talk his way out of it. 😀
What I laughed was Liza's boyfriend and Sam zapped up half banana half apple I think it was 😅
@@picantesworld7723 Liza's boyfriend really was more 'adult' than her. Sure he wanted to beat Darrin up, but he knew what Liza was all about.
@@dianetheisen8664 I know and then she twisted it around on Darrin and he went back to punch Darrin.
I love the pie scene, too. After eating several stacks of pancakes, Marvin was still hungry. Talk about taking advantage of Sam's good nature. 😀
That girl is cute
Samantha looks cuter, I don't worship celebrities and I don't care who is famous or not but when she ask "Which one?" that is cute.
Cheryl Holdridge. Barbara Hutton's former daughter-in-law.
