And have bought the entire box set of Bewitched. And, like you, the show has brought me immense pleasure. I often pop it on to give myself a laugh & a lift in mood. And I have several other box sets, from the 60's/70's/80's, that help in this way. Elizabeth was wonderful in her role as Samantha. I will always love her.

I too grew up watching Bewitched. I met her in the mid-70s. I was a skinny 16-year-old with shoulder-length hair. Robert Foxworth and other notable stars were filming scenes from a Disney movie in a nearby small town and she was there with them. The location was on the shore of the Sacramento river. I approached her and asked her for her autograph. No makeup, no fancy clothes, she was dressed all in denim. But, she was stunning to this young man. Without hesitation she said yes to the autgraph and asked my name. She was having difficulty writing with the pen and paper I gave to her. So she found an old piece of wood in the dirt and got on her hands and knees to sign her name. I was taken aback that she would go to all that trouble. She gave me the paper. I thanked her and told her she didn't have to go to all that trouble. She gave me the Samantha smile and said "That's okay."

However, with every 10 yrs therapies and medications advice but, also people don’t realize a lot of people that develop cancer because, of chronic diseases that tend to bring on these different cancers, which, I am sure can effect the way a person can manage their healing. Per Merriam-Webster:
This dictionary defines cannot as “can not.” The word and the phrase mean exactly the same thing: both are the negation of the very common and useful verb can. The only difference between them is that the closed form, cannot, is much more common.

It is still entertaining, mostly because of Montgomery. But I watch it now with new eyes. How angry and threatening Darren always was, shaming Samantha for who and what she was! How meddling, domineering, and abusive the other characters (boss, neighbours, Darren's mother) intent on everyone being the same and/or obeying them! It's an allegory for fearful, conservative societies, making enemies (eg, of Endora) for no reason, hysterical about their imagined evils (eg, the children's magical abilities), and destructive in their obsession to dominate, oppress, and control. With the possible exception of Samantha's mischievous lookalike sister, no one in the witch community was out to get or harm anyone, but the mortals operated as though they were a dangerous threat just because that's what they thought. That's how discrimination works.

That is a hard question to answer because I loved them all!! Now that I am older you see how Darrin was a hypocrite because he only wanted her to use magic when it suited his needs. I loved the Kravitses their nosy neighbors. “ABNER”!!! A very interesting and classic episode “Sisters at Heart” where Tabitha had an African American friend and a client was prejudiced because he thought her mother was Darrin’s wife and was withdrawing his account. Samantha taught him a lesson and Larry told him to take his business elsewhere!!

My father met her on Hollywood Blvd in the early 60's. My father was a Marine Staff Sargent at the time. She was coming out of a store, I can't remember which one. My Father happened to be walking into the store at the same time she was walking out. My father was in his green class B uniform and obviously looking like a Marine. As she went over to her car, she noticed she had a flat tire. She remembered seeing my father walk past her and into the store. She came back into the store and saw my father and asked if could help with her flat tire. My father said yes, and went out to the car and changed the tire for her. She thanked him very politely and offered him tickets to some show in town, I can't remember what show it was, something at the Pantages Theater I think. My father politely refused as he knew he was shipping out to Vietnam in a few days. Elizabeth was one of the nice people you meet in Hollywood, very unassuming and friendly to everyone. I've discovered from his podcast that Keith Olbermann and Ms. Montgomery developed a close friendship when she spotted him on a plane and reading a gift from his sister about Lizzie Borden which Montgomery had portrayed in a movie of the week. She remarked, "Oh Keith you're reading about me!" After inquiring if anyone was sitting next to him she sat down and they had a long conversation on various topics one of which was baseball which it turned out she was a fan of. After they landed and discovered he was en route to his parent's home she insisted he ride with her in her Rolls there since it was on her way. After arriving there she suggested they play a trick on his parents and he agreed. She knocked on the door and after it was answered said "Hi my name is Elizabeth and I'm friends with Keith, can he come out and play." Olbermann seemed genuinely impressed by Ms. Montgomery and said they remained friends the rest of her life often talking on the phone each month afterward. I never particularly liked "Bewitched" since I was entering my teens when it debuted and thought it was rather silly and absurd. But nevertheless, Montgomery was a beautiful woman, and frankly, what red-blooded American boy could disregard such a person and especially if she comes across as a very nice individual. The first thing I really remember her in other than that show was an episode of the "Twilight Zone" opposite Charles Bronson about two space travelers who are on different sides of a military conflict.

Well, Greggs tattoo has her riding his guitar! It’s a beautiful piece of art! If she could she it, I think she’d be impressed by the detail work. Elizabeth Montgomery starred in not only one of my favorite sitcoms, but also in my favorite episode of The Twilight Zone (with Charles Bronson). The episode entitled “Two”.

Elizabeth truly enjoyed working on 'Two' and was all-in for looking war-torn. She wasn't concerned about not looking pretty. I named my daughter after her--such an amazing woman!

Bewitched is a time machine that takes me back to my childhood. As a young woman in the seventies, I was the first generation that was raised to be a housewife, but was now expected to earn a living. The show takes me back to a time where the character of Samantha was always able to craft a happy ending by her wits. Even people who, in essence, had everything (witches), you still had constraints you must work within. Sam always found a way.

She was adorable and will always be one of my favorites. I LOVED when she would call for Dr. Bombay, emergency, come right away! And playing her naughty cousin Serena!
Also loved her portrayal as Lizzie Borden!

She was a star's star because, with that charm and beauty, she could knock you off your feet without half trying plus, she was talented. However, so sad that her personal life suffered mostly.

She was one of my favorites as a kid and still love watching Bewitched. My favorite movie with her was about Jesse James. She played Jesse's mother.

Elizabeth Montgomery was a beloved actress because America just fell in love with her during her rise to stardom from the comedy Bewitched but she was a natural actress and enhanced every staring role she played, I especially enjoyed her acting abilities as portrayed in a movie or mine series when she played the wife of a prominent actor from a story that was based on a story set in the late 1700's to early 1800' and her screenplays husband's name she pronounced his name as Porcious, both of their acting talents together made the movie a big hit to add to both Elizabeth's & her co-stars acting careers.

One of my favorites was where she portrayed a pioneer woman who got married, then had an affair and had a son with heart problems. They kept it a secret and boy grew up with his father. The boy fell in love with Elizabeth's daughter, not knowing she is his half-sister. Both his father and Elizabeth forbid the boy and girl seeing each other, though they couldn't tell them why. He died from his heart problems and the girl mourned his death. It was a good, heartwarming tale.
