I have a questions! Are you able to freely travel china outside of city centers as a white or foreigner? Last time i went i was followed everywhere and turned away from establishments because of my race. When traveling in rural china last year we had the police called on us resulting in an interrogation and confiscation of SD cards, Im curious if thats changed in the last year? No, yea i thought.
I'm in China, but I read your comments and it feels like you're not talking about China! There are many videos on RUclips of foreigners going to the countryside, even going to Xinjiang! They didn't have what you said they had
TBH this stuff happens in all countries. It's very prevalent on sea shipping, where a ship might unload coal in one load, and have to store food in the next load. You just have to clean out the containers in between loads. Some of it was probably blown way out of proportion. And some of those were definitely greedy companies cutting corners. Again, you get what you pay for if you buy cheap cooking oil. I have seen highly unsanitary food production in Canada also. Consumers have to educate themselves.
The companies doing the dirty job are foreign investment company from America and Singapore. They mixed use of container. Hopefully China govt rule out heavy punishment or scrap the companies.
@@UnbreakableM1nd WHAT!!!!! Prevalent? Maybe in 3rd world countries, in the US there would be a lawsuit and somebody would be paying big money lol. Sure the US has companies that cut corners but we also have workers rights that holds the corporations responsible for a safe workplace and we have consumer protection laws that protect the customer ensuring that a product is up to standards. Sadly from what I have read the "squeaky wheel get the grease" in china so who would want to blow a whistle or complain about anything.Id just want to keep my head down, I don't want to say something bad about one of those "privately"(CCP) owned companies lol.
