What they don’t tell you is, the fender is injection molded fiberglass. When I was prepping the fender, wet sanding down pin holes kept appearing. We had to use filler as an extra step….🙄 Not good!!
Anytime I paint fiberglass I always begin sanding with 120 grit, spray a 2K primer, block sand with 400 grit, and spray an epoxy sealer before ever spraying pigment. The 2k primer step fills any pinholes without any need for body filler.
Next year at this time I will have one of these fenders from rush collision and repair these people know what they’re doing I will soon be posting my dash panel that they painted for me great people great work rush collision and repair look them up

@ridefitnation: Air Ride serves many purposes such as suspension height and rebound adjustment. Height adjustment is necessary when you have low fenders or saddlebags that make contact with the ground while turning or riding on unleveled surfaces. Lowering a stock shock can make the ride stiff and uncomfortable to ride. Air Suspension allows the bike to ride low and comfortable. I ordered one and not only does the fender wag due to vibration, it also flexes during hot sunny days🙄🤦🏻♂️ Plus, while prepping the fender for paint, pin holes appeared in the fender because they use spray injected molding when making the fender. So you have to use filler when prepping the fender for paint.

I've got the 21 inch Bad Dad fender on my RK it's thick and does not flex you could stand on it and not hurt it👍
