This is out of my pay scale, but I started watching when I saw Rhythm. I've talked with my piano teachers and taken a big step back in my musical education. I was going through John Thompson Book 2, and had basic problems about 2/3 of the way through. I wasn't feeling the music. I've got better than average technique for my skill level, but I'm not musical. But I only started after 65 yoa. So now I'm back in Book 1 and playing simple songs, but better. And yes, rhythm is a problem. Thanks, I'll be back since I've seen your videos before and I like your style.
Would love to have some material on the struggle to find swing. I play in a church band where some of the singers struggle to find the "ands", and I have no idea how to approach fixing it.
