2:36 Respect for the blur💙💙💙 Cuz a lot of people do this kind of help to these people just to show others they are good and they don't respect privacy like you did
Thank you for clarifying that you had consent to film everyone. As a primary school teacher it makes me really happy to see children being filmed respectfully and not exploited for views 🥰
I have been watching you for a good while now, 3-ish years? I've watched how your content has developed and the quality of your videos have sky rocketed, and I am just so proud of you for that. you have been a big part in my motivation to want to do well in school (which is paying off as I'm doing really well currently!) and I want to thank you for that. you are a RAY of positivity, the way you are authentic and we get to see the ups and downs in your life, and the passion you have for the things you do. you have such a beautiful and kind soul and I hope that you keep growing in that aspect as you're already pretty, pretty amazing. You're smile and curly hair are so pretty and just I love everything about you, I hope that you reach your future goals and that you just keep being yourself. Great video as usual! its nice to see you guys all together again!
honestly, i just feel so gratful for this video. the way you were able to capture the desire for learning, the hopes and aspiration evident in the hearts of the community, the way everyone is working hard to make education available for everyone. this is one of, if not my most favorite video of yours jade. absolutely loved it. probably gave the biggest motivation to continue to love learning than any other video ever has.
I've wanted to work for an NGO for a while now however ,I found it hard to visualise and also have concerns about their work and ethics. However, this video has helped me so much to understand how beneficial their work can be, particularly when they work with communities and reach out to them. Seeing you all speaking and interacting directly with them was so inspiring and motivating!
Hi! I just wanted to add something even if it comes from a stranger on the internet: wanting to helping means a strong and fine character. I wanted to stress that first. But please consider which ngo you go to and why. It can be extremely damaging to kids, when helpers constantly leave after six months. Doesn't matter if you're at a school or at a orphanage. And please Co soder why you'd do that in a different country, while you could help out in your own as well. The experience? Travel for two weeks, you'll see more of the country as well. Helping other countrys? Ask yourself if donations wouldn't do a more sustainable job and if you secretly wish for gratitude. Work and travel is a great consentual way.Its not wrong wanting to help, just make sure of your intentions and options before you go. otherwise you will disappoint yourself and the people you want to help. There are many documentaries on youtube about this issues. Otherwise, keep on going! Have a nice day!
@@not-a-ghost2206 Thanks for the advice! I have a few more years before I actually have to start considering my career path more seriously so I hope to deepen my understanding of this sector and its related issues, as well as forge a stronger idea about my own passions etc. I definitely won't be basing everything just on this video😅 but I appreciated the work directly with the community. I do have some concerns about work within the charity sector and exactly how I would contribute to genuine sustainable change. Definitely a lot to consider and I'll keep up the research 😊😊
Jadeeee, your videos are getting better and better and I love how diversified your content is getting. You are showing the beauty of studies and not only the boring-behind-the-desk way of studying. Such a beautiful video that made me so so happy and feel so inspired! Honestly one of my favourite videos of yours ever, Jade, and I'm so glad you had such a wonderful time. I watch these amazing videos of how much people treasure education and I always think about what a shame it is that many countries, Western countries especially, have ruined education for so many people. seeing how pleasant, fun, and gentle the atmosphere of the classrooms in this video really showed why we have such a stark difference in attitudes to education. I think a lot of people would think of Western people as ungrateful, which we definitely are to an extent, but I sit here revising for a biology a level exam that determines my ability to attend university where I want, with the course I want, and it feels like no surprise that people do not take advantage of, or even enjoy, education here. it just always makes me sad, and I hope that one day education is available to all, and said education is made enjoyable, with adaptations for the variety of people that attend
yes girl! I absolutely agree. I enjoyed learning so much when I got home schooled, but I struggled with motivation the second I got into a regular school. luckily, I'm in vet school now so I'm starting to enjoy studying more. by the way, how did your exam go? :)
I am in a pre-teacher training course right now, and sometimes the course can get quite exhausting and frustrating. The burn out is real, but teaching is my dream and this video literally brought tears and inspired me to give my best.

It's really refreshing, listening to you using adjectives. :D what I mean by that is that you find other values in the Cambodian people than "the kids are so cute".
I went to a few schools with UWS some 7 years ago (I feel old!). Slept in hammocks, learnt about the work there and the Cambodian education system as a whole. I have to say it was a pivotal moment and I am still very grateful for the experience. Also I can still count to 10 in Khmer!
I havent even started watching but i know it will be good :) as someone who is still in secondary school . I could remember the school trip i had to an orphanage for donations. This vid is bringing back so many memories as the enviroment is so similiar.
Great video!! The efforts that are done there are amazing!! But on a side note.. I support women empowerment through education but let us not make the whole thing about going against women getting married and forming families.. because in that sense we are destroying the society. Yes some woman want to learn, work and begin a career which is fine. On the other hand some women want to learn, get married and start a family while her husband take care of the financial responsibilities which is also fine! Success is not a sole thing.. it’s our ability to juggle and master many things in our lives. Myself I’m doing my PhD, married and planning on having kids soon. Marriage isn’t an obstacle to anything in life, in contrary it’s a bond that connects the person to their soulmate
Living in the US and the UK it’s uncommon for girls to stay home and have kids but it’s not in other countries. It’s different all over the world and that doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing especially when some places don’t have giant buildings with technology
If you have not watched the documentary series on RUclips called "The Most Dangerous Ways To School" you really need to see it. Great for learning about different cultures you never knew about and for motivation and feeling grateful.
You know getting married under 18 is not always against getting educated in my country there are girls who have married in 16 and now are a mother and a college student at the same time. Anyway thanks for your video as always I have enjoyed every single minute of it
