I've watched so many of these tutorials and I actually have a tip for you regarding the sleeve placement (and anything else) that will make it so much quicker and easier! There's an option with the EA models for Marvelous that helps you quickly snap the garment on the model where you need (like the sleeve on the arm). All you have to do is go to the little menu on the left of the 3D viewer, select the third option from the top that looks like the bust of a model (I hope that makes sense what I'm talking about) and then in the menu that opens horizontal select the option that is called arrangement points and all these blue dots should pop up on the model. If you select the piece of fabric and then whatever blue dot corresponds to where you want the fabric to go on the model and BOOM auto snaps in place! Thank you for this tutorial! You're awesome! I love using substance painter and couldn't for the life of me find anyone else that had a tutorial for using it for The Sims!
Thank you so much for making this! I've been wanting to mesh and make clothes for more than 10 years and now, thanks to your dedication, I can finally do it! I can't even believe it.💙💙
Thank you soooo much for making this video! I've been considering making my own cc and mods lately, and your video pushed me over the edge into I WILL make my own!!! so thank you again and i will be watching all your vids to get to know how to use my new programs!!! I loved the dress btw!!
I had no idea making custom content like meshes and such used this many programs and steps. Here I was thinking you could use one program to form the dress, texture it and then just export it as a package. Intimidating to say the least that you need like 5 different programs. Half the time I had no idea what you were talking about half the time. All that said, this tutorial was still extremely helpful, I'm just sad that now I need to learn 5 programs and follow so many steps or it won't turn out as it should.
Hi! Can you make a video going more into depth about weight painting? I am making puffy sleeves, but near the armpit, the sleeve doesn't move with the arm, I can't figure out how to determine what part of the clothes that should move with what part of the body :)
Believe it or not, I am actually terrible at weight painting. It's something I need to get better at. I finally have time in my life to get back to CC making so hopefully I'll have a new tutorial up soon. 🙂
At 2:21:20 do you mind explaining how you can see the custom output template? I got that file from Amelina but for some reason it doesn't show up in my list. I put it under my export presets folders for substance painter. I restarted the project twice to make sure it wasn't me but I don't see that one on the list.
@@JohnniferLeigh okay yeah I think it's something a lot of people will be glad for. No pressure I'm just saying, I'm still looking for help elsewhere. I don't think most creators use them, not sure tho.
Hi! First of all, love the tutorial! Very helpful. Secondly, I have a small question. Do you know how to create your own custom output template for SP, or if another one would work? I'm at the part where you're exporting the texture from SP, but I don't have Amelylina's tutorial/template. I tried to purchase it, but I don't have a credit card and I didn't see an option for Paypal...I would really love to complete this tutorial!
Hi 👋🏻 thank u for this tutorials. Thank to you I created my very first cc!! Now I’m in problems again 😩 in SPainter I downloaded the Sims Template but I don’t know what to do with it. I can’t add the template to the SPainter to finally open all the textures in Gimp. I don’t have the CURVATURE. 😭

Hi 👋🏻 first of all thank you so much for your tutorials, very impressed how good teacher you are! I have a problem…in zbrush when I duplicate the dress to low the points for zplugin, I notice your dress is all white like one layer of cloth and my dress have 2 layer of cloth, they overlap…and when I go to zplugin - uv master - polygroups - unwrap - flatten…ITS A DISASTER, don’t look like a uv map. It’s layer of cloth on top of each other. What I’m doing wrong? 😩😩

Be sure to make the high poly mesh invisible when you do the uv map for the low poly. That's happened to me before 😁.
