I hate how the show tried to make Maesi look like she was a back-up dancer. Just watch Maesi's solo titanium and wide awake. Her lines, her technique, her flexibility are just mind blowing. She is more than a hiphop dancer.
That titanium solo was something that was rehearsed for many months. Maesi was overrated by many fans on here. She forgot more than one dance. She rushed her dances. She was fantastic with her flexibility and hip hop but couldn’t pull off other genres. Simple.

I’m a synchronised (artistic) swimmer and I was so stressed last year at one of our national competitions, my team competed and I threw up as soon as we got into the changing rooms afterward. The whole day afterward, people were asking me if I felt okay, and tbh i felt fine immediately after throwing up

It’s crazy how here, Stacey cannot wrap her head around the idea that the nerves are what making Maesi sick. That along with immense pressure and stress. In season 8, Lilly is going through the same thing when she fell, cut her hair, etc. This environment is so taxing on these kids. idk it was just something I observed. Stacey was so quick to escalate the situation and it just rubbed me the wrong way I guess.
I hate reading the comments on this video. I’m with the other moms on this one. She *could* have been sick. There is absolutely no way to know for sure. If your kid throws up (whether from anxiety, lack of sleep, or the stomach flu), they’re not supposed to go to school. It’s that simple. Kids get sick, especially when they are not eating or sleeping because that weakens their immune systems. When those kids are sick, they get other people sick.
Maesi's solo is so good that I remembered her although I didn't watch dance moms I just stumbled across this episode and still remember this girl till this day, I wonder what she is doing now
Macie is such a good dancer and nobody believed she could place higher then brynn besides her own mother. Abby gave a great dance to this girl and she owned it. Macie has a bright future waiting for her along the way. Keep doing what you are doing and love it just as much later. Have fun because everybody including ur family friends and fans know u can complete any dream you want. Continue being yourself aka an amaxing talent dancer.
You know, I understand how Stacey felt in that mindset because I actually have the same phobia, and it happened to me a week after I got over having pneumonia. I had the 24 hour stomach bug and it was awful. I felt like someone tied my stomach into a square knot.
Yall are saying stacey is in the wrong. But as a person who suffers with emetophobia, i can totally relate. I literally feel like im going to pass out if someone throws up near me and being near those who are sick is the biggest of my worries
