What do you prefer listening to while working? Music, sports, or talk radio?

Wow, decent sound quality and versatility with satellite speaker options. Surprised I haven't seen an audio company do something similar for jobsites.
It'd be nice if a person could use a DAC with this via USB-A or 3.5mm. It's definitely worth it! You could even get creative with satellite speaker placement. Nicely done, Mark!

Thanks, I think Makita has some bluetooth radio that daisy-chains, but haven't seen them reviewed or heard the sound quality. The Ryobi Clamp Speakers are a nice setup to extend the sound.

Good Evening Mark! Hope you had a great Father’s Day! Wishing everyone in the Community a Happy Father’s Day! My daughter in from college sat outside with me and we listened to some ‘Golden Oldies’ on my Anker Soundcore Speakers, and it was enjoyable. Kind of ties in with your video! 😊👍🤝

@@MarkThomasBuilder Sorta a great clip, man I was actually EXPECTING you to actually DEMONSTRATE at the distance you stated, what about making another clip with the box where you have it in this clip and take one of the speakers out to the distance that you said they WILL WORK !

If milwaukee made a Packout Mini radio that was the size of the deep half cases, that could be powered by extension cord, or M12/M18. I would buy it.
I'm really not impressed by any of the radios any of these companies have been putting out lately.

How do I get into the early tools program. I've been through so many of their radios on the job.

When the stereo is stacked on a Link toolbox, are you able to lock on a tool bag or small parts organizer on top of it? It doesn’t look like it has the same top needed to lock things on top

    • @MarkThomasBuilder

No, it's just a tray to set things on.

@@MarkThomasBuilder That's terrible. Ryobi LINK is so poorly planned in my opinion.

    Does it charge the battery?
Does the AM/FM broadcast to the Clamp speakers?

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  2 месяца назад +2

No, it doesn't charge the battery, unfortunately. I just went outside to double check that it broadcasts radio stations and the answer is yes. I did just notice that this in only a FM radio, no AM.

@@MarkThomasBuilder So does it actually have a FM radio IN IT?? And will it send the music OUT to the portable speakers at that distance??? Many of us DON'T use phones for such, a DEMO of JUST the radio sending to the portable speakers AT DISTANCE would be VERY helpful !

  • @dustinkrebs8229

It would have been cooler if you could charge a battery while plugging it into an extension cord

Lmao LINK compatible doesn’t mean it can connect to other speakers, it means it’s modular and can physically connect to other LINK mounting systems and portable tool holders/mounts. 🤦‍♂️
VERSE is the tech name for the speaker connectivity.
