Garden soil will come with a lot of pollutant like snails, worms, etc. so that can cause problems.
Hi Mayur, with regards to the sand, rather than cleaning it once it is placed in the tank, why now wash it first ?
You are welcome to wash it, just the it is easy to work with when it is dry
