    It’s videos like these that make me thing I can have success. Then I watch others say water change 50% every other day for three weeks, and then twice a week, or some say 80% water change. Some say 20%. Add this chemical add that one. It really can be overwhelming. But I like this approach of just maintenance while it sorts itself out.

    how to aquascape on a budget:
    -dont buy driftwood just go to the river and collect it
    -substrate: potting soil capped with sand from the river.
    -just use a regular desk lamp with 3€ 17w led bulb in it. no need for special aquarium lights
    -lots of plants and only a few fish so no filter is needed

    Ricefish if you're not careful can breed a lot even without much care or not breed at all if you are too concerned. Two or six fish can be bearing eggs all at once which can be a bit of a challenge if you just begin the hobby and only have 1 fish tank. If you are very mindful and concerned of the fish they will somehow not bear as much eggs. Your presence and constant micromanaging may stress them out.

      terima kasih

    • @CoretanIjo
      @CoretanIjo  Год назад +1

      @@ilham4046 Ini sering jadi pertanyaan. Jadi saya jelaskan sekalian, jadi bakal panjang dan bertele-tele.
      Pertumbuhan tanaman itu dibatasi oleh faktor nutrisi yang terendah. Di aquascape tanpa CO2, lebih spesifiknya untuk tanaman yang tenggelam, faktor nutrisi itu adalah CO2. Tanaman tidak akan mampu menyerap banyak nutrisi lain karena sudah dibatasi oleh CO2.
      Kalau tanaman tidak mampu menyerap banyak nutrisi lain, apakah pupuk masih diperlukan? Bisa ya, bisa tidak.
      Pakan ikan, baik yang dimakan maupun yang tidak, akan menjadi nutrisi tanaman tapi ini juga sumber CO2. Jumlah CO2 vs nitrat yang dihasilkan dari pakan cenderung menghasilkan kelebihan nitrat. Jadi pupuk nitrat cenderung tidak diperlukan. Pun sama saja dengan fosfat. Kalsium, Kalium dan Magnesium seharusnya dipenuhi dari air tapi kalau air soft (banyak kan scaper yg ngeyel pakai air RO), maka perlu ditambah dari pupuk atau mineral tambahan. Nutrisi micro selain zat besi sama sekali tidak diperlukan (jumlahnya melimpah di tanah dan air). Zat besi bisa jadi diperlukan, bisa jadi tidak. Jadi apakah perlu pupuk atau tidak? Jawabannya ini, khusus untuk tanaman yang tenggelam.
      Untuk tanaman yang terapung, perlu. Tidak ada batasan CO2, mereka mampu menyerap semua nutrisi dalam jumlah banyak.

    • @ilham4046
      @ilham4046 Год назад

      @@CoretanIjo sangat detail dan mudah di pahami, dan sepertinya problem saya sebagai pemula bisa teratasi, selama ini problem saya yg terus berulang adalah cepat muncul alga yg banyak dan tanaman cepat busuk, dari penjelasan dan jg video anda sepertinya masalah saya adalah kelebihan nutrisi dan juga pengaturan cahaya yg berlebih. mengenai cahaya sudah sangat jelas contoh yg anda berikan di video, dan masalah nutrisi, ternyata unuk aquascape tanpa CO2 ini tanpa menggunakan pupuk dasar pun bisa dilakukan, dan seperti nya penambahan pupuk cair yg selama ini saya lakukan justru menjadi problem bagi aquarium saya. sekali lagi terima kasih pak penjelasan nya sangat membantu saya, dan saya tertarik untuk buat aquascape lagi menggunakan metode yg sama dengan yg ada di video

    I am a teacher and would like to try this in my class but wondering what is the smallest size tank I can do because space is always an issue with teachers.

      If it's only plants, 1 gallon jar is enough. For animals, we can follow aqadvisor recomendation as the starting point.

      I always change the brand based on what is available in the store near my house. So technically, I never really care what brand as long as it's cyanoacrilate glue.
