Thank you Sarvanan, As for the point of CO2 tablets, the effectiveness is questionable as there is no consistency and also the tablets may or may not work. As for plants observing Co2, they need a consistent and timely supply of Co2 in the form that they can synthesise. so will not vouch for the tablets.

this depends on the extent of the algae growth!! Black out for too long will effect the plants. For BGA you can use ADA Phyton Git Sol, this will help you get rid of the algae and it is not a chemical that will harm the plants

Basic things you need to address, your lighting, CO2 and fertiliser. the other important thing is cut the leaves of the anubia that has the algae, and if your conditions are good the leaves will grow back.

Not necessary, you can have a great tank without a UV filter, yes UV will harm the bacteria

Carpet plants are very sensitive to water quality, light, Fertilisers etc, the combinations and the amount have to be right

Water changes enough, no need to use anything, keep the parameters stable
