I’m not a mechanic but I’ve worked on my own cars for years and I’ve always used copper grease for assemblies .
Many professionals don’t bother if it’s not their motor.

if the brake wear sensor has not been activated (worn through yet), is it necessary to replace it?

Hi, it is exactly the same procedure, it may just have slightly larger brakes, we would need your VIN number to check :)

Do you need to do anything before lifting the Rover with the hoist?

You need to use the scan and erase it.

@@mastermind5692 i cut off the brake pad sensor and jumped Dose 2 wires from it put some electrical tape and good to go. Thanks
