- We are on to Prince Dirty Mind album. Today were exploring two of Princes albums by comparing their singles, The Gold Experience reaction versus dirty mind reaction. Specifically the singles Dirty Mind Versus Eye Hate U.

Great reaction, I think Dirty Mind was the beginning of Prince becoming “Prince “. You should listen to the album version to Eye Hate You, the testimony part is a little longer and spicier 😂😂

Glad you enjoyed I HATE U. I think it charted at 11 or 12 on the pop charts in the US. The GOLD EXPERIENCE album is full of good stuff.

If you’re a prince fan make sure to listen to the full album cuts. These “single” versions are shorter-built for radio and the videos. Album cuts are typically funkier, longer, more raunchy, and better rep Prince’s music.
Yeah these are just single showdown’s between dirty mind and the gold experiece’s singles. I’ll be reacting to the full album next: I look forward to hearing the longer versions!

OMG-Prince uses a ton of humor and vocal breakdowns. Check out the deep cut and jam, “Prettyman” on Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic. Might be a hidden track.

One word yeah Van Halen did steal prince DIRTY MIND song ....Van Halen cam out with jump song in between 87 / 88.....This was prince classic masterpiece went platinum with little RADIO AIRPLAY ... "Eye Hate U" for me. Not even close. It's my favorite Prince song. The big hit from that album was "Most Beautiful Girl In The World." though, but "Eye Hate U' was making the rounds at the karaoke moreso.
