    I visited your website and I have a question. Why is it that I have to go all the way down to the 6x6 163in diagonal model to have 4k resolution? And that's with 0.9 Pixel Pitch. Why do the smaller models don't have 4k when you have smaller TVs that do 4k? Maybe I'm not understanding how Micro LED works. Can you explain?

    • @justvideowalls
      @justvideowalls  11 месяцев назад +3

      Hey Jose, you're honing in on one of the distinguishing features of MicroLED. It's a bit hard to explain over a RUclips comment, so we are working on some content to help understand this. However, the general idea is that the eye can only see the individual pixels at a set distance with 20/20 vision. With TVs, the pixel density is often so tight that you need to be as close as 6-inches away to visibly see the pixels. But nobody really watches TVs that close. So the extra pixel density is not useful beyond what your eyes can actually see. With MicroLED you are essentially defining your own pixel density with a custom screen, rather than defining a resolution. The density is typically higher, but at a set distance for each pixel pitch option, the pixels disappear. In other words, adding more pixels does nothing to the perceived experience after that distance.
      For a 0.9mm pitch, the scientific distance where pixels fully disappear is 10-feet. However, everyone including myself (and I'm highly scrupulous) agrees that you can be much closer practically and the experience is still absolutely incredible. Some of this depends on the type of content you are viewing.
      Hope that helps!

    The quick cuts to stock footage are really distracting. I don't need to see a 0.5 second image of Legos when you say the word "modular" or 1.5 seconds of people staring at post notes when you say "project". Seems like the video editor was desperate to fill time.

    • @justvideowalls
      @justvideowalls  Год назад

      Hey there! MicroLEDs of this type are not small enough to be suitable for watching as close as a PC monitor. It still makes more sense to go a traditional route like an OLED monitor for that applciation.

    • @sgru9558
      @sgru9558 9 месяцев назад

      @@justvideowalls the problem with OLED monitors is that 90% of the times there are static element and even with the best available technology the burn-in will happen. Proof? Myself with a QD-OLED monitor where some burn-in developed where the Windows start button is and the other icons. For now I moved the bar from left to the center.
      While using an OLED as a TV which is not always on and always on the same channel (where the logo may be static) it's perfect. People say about brightness? LOL when I watch movies with my partner sometime we do the action to cover the eyes as some scenes are super bright. The extra brightness is for those who decide to watch the TV with direct sunlight on it lol.

    So I saw in the CEDIA video that your modules are potentially flexible - do you have one that is suitable for compund curves, and if so what are the radius limitations?

    • @justvideowalls
      @justvideowalls  Год назад +1

      Hi Tim! We do have curved options. One of our panels is very flexible which is more suited for harder curves like around corners etc. More basic curving can be done with standard panels believe it or not. For specific limits, we'd need to see more about your project. The custom curves typically require more specific engineered mounts, which we can bring in one of our partners to design.

    • @justvideowalls

      The brightness values are per pixel, which is not limited by averaging or power draw restrictions. So 600 nits on a MicroLED display should be substantially brighter than 600 nits on a standard OLED or LCD display.

      maybe i dont understand (and my english is poor)
      but to stay legal (there is limitation of electric consumption) " maybe micro led need limit like an oled for bigs windows?
      lcd have an abl too, just less.
      oled have a bigger abl because they have a worst electric yield/efficiency when there is a big window.
      i hope micro led have a better efficiency than oled.

    The title wording needs to be in the introduction of the video at least somewhere, as in nearly verbatim, followed by a clear and concise answer. Example: "We here at JVW think that the biggest problem with MicroLEDs is the overcomplexity in setup and design due to it being a new an emerging technology. Our company expertly understands this technology and will confidently guide you through the process of investing in MicroLEDs." If you have to defend your video's title repeatedly in the comments, then it was clearly confusing for the viewers. So, I was just wondering where HR is and when I should expect my first check. 🤣

    • @justvideowalls
      @justvideowalls  3 месяца назад +1

      No, it cannot. We have walls at 5,000 nits +. Regardless, even our 600 nit walls are much brighter than any OLED i've ever seen. There's no brightness protection circuits required because our LEDs are high-spec and powerful enough to handle the voltage. Not just measured in a quick burst of brightness, but sustained high-brightness.
