What CI's Think of Just Video Walls' MicroLED Design Tool
The aspect ratio on that video will look kind of odd, especially when the Apple TV logo showed up.
It was set to stretch during setup. Afterwards we changed the pixel ratio to fit normal aspect with multiple inputs
Absolutely love everything except the audio and completely cringed when he said that Sonance invisible speakers are "top notch". Yowza. Don't get me wrong, it's certainly a beautiful aesthetic. No doubt about it. But the only thing top notch about this particular audio setup is the aesthetic. I'm really not trying to be rude but come on, man. You and I both know you're really having to hike-up your sales pants on this facet of the build. But you gotta do what you gotta do to make the sale. I get it.
It’s top notch brand/model in the category of hidden speakers. It’s pretty understood the difference when you hear them compared to a set of focal towers 😊 The designers and architects (and wives) value other things than us dudes hah
@@justvideowalls I hear that. Haha! I guess I’m blessed to have a wife that allows some ugly-A speakers into her living room that were free 😂😅
lol!! That’s a life goal right there!
any distibuter in india
Not yet, it’s on our roadmap asap!
The wall tv is too rectangular in shape. It's supposed to be a little bit square in shape. The aspect ratio is too narrow.
??
Cringed 😬 seeing laundry washer/dryer in the same room with my AV/IT rack
It’s closed off and has its own ventilation
Very nice, any of your partners do high end pre-existing homes in Utah?
Yes, we can get you connected. Please send us your info here: justvideowalls.com/get-a-video-wall/
@@justvideowalls Thanks, I appreciate it.
Great, I am looking into this solution.
Awesome! Let me know how we can help
This is 4k
This wall is a 1.2 at 136” so not quite 4K. But the importance of resolution is a bit of a different thing in dvled
@@justvideowalls thank you for reply
price?
It varies a lot based on size, pixel pitch, and other options
How much for this size?
$80k MSRP
Amazing! What brand is this microled TV?
This is our brand! justvideowalls.com
All this stuff in this video was cool !!!!
I know right!?
Cleanly done! Can’t wait to see more audiophile home owners who push you to do crazy installs!
You and me both!
Basically another toy for the wealthy that 98% of average working Americans won't ever be able to afford
It is definitely a high-end product. We are working to innovate - but also introduce more accessible options
You could use the design concepts at a fraction of the price.
This is so nice, it gives me a lot of ideas and inspirations, thank you. I especially like the sub in the wall and invisible ceiling speakers!
For sure! The in wall sub is my favorite part.
I love the video wall, I don’t see how the audio is being done well
Thanks! The audio sounds great, especially considered they are mud-in invisible speakers. If it was a home theater setup it would be designed different with a proper LCR.
Great Video!
Thank you! 🙏
Wow sweet walkthrough!
Thanks! It's a really sweet space
Someday
We all start somewhere my friend!
600 nits is terrible for 75 inch hd tv!! but for this size very poor!
Nit ratings are hyper inflated on TVs. Definitely not the same as our video walls. When you see one in person you will immediately understand. These are calibrated down but still output brighter than nearly any residential TV available today. Reason being is the LEDs do not require and AGC or control mechanisms to protect the pixels or the boards because they are capable of handling much higher heat and voltage. 600 nits per LED is quite different than 600 for the total 75" TV display surface
This is rated per pixel. Not per display. It's a whole different ball game.
Looks very professional.but I don't understand why get a 32:9 setup when 99% of the content is 16:9?
Thank you! Our processor enables multi-viewing in lots of different ways. We can do 2 16:9's or 4 plus 1. Anything you can imagine
I just think the same real estate would be better utilized with a single 16:9 block @@justvideowalls
That’s the beauty of these… you can make it whatever you want 😊
If on an LED TV, dust accumulates, requiring cleaning with a microfiber cloth and some special sprays, how should each of the LEDs on the panel be cleaned, given that they don't have a protective cover like those on other TVs?
Wiped clean with a damp cloth - no problem. The one in this video has a phosphor layer which encapsulates the pixels. Very durable
What would the 156” led wall cost to put in a home
About $160k for this 0.9 pitch, which is top of the line right now. A 1.2 pitch about half that.
@@justvideowalls so maybe just $40k for a 1.5 pitch then? :-)
@@htschultz Haha, no it doesn't scale the same from 1.2 to 1.5 😀
What’s the name of the center table in videowalls’ HQ?
Unsure! I asked Ryan and he said it’s from pottery barn
Whats a tv like this cost
$40-$60k for this exact setup
Do you do international 👀
We have it on our roadmap asap!
Holy Bromance...and they love Apple! I'm outta here...🤑🤑
Haha yeah high end tech in high end homes is very bromantic
I love technology so much.... love how fast it improves also. Been waiting for these modular TVs it seems forever.... looks like its getting closer!
100%! It’s awesome!
In terms of image quality, can a videowalls of those replace an high end TV?
Yes, our customers are moving to our LED walls over tv left and right 👍
Brighter, bigger, oled level color reproduction, high contrast, no glare
@@justvideowallswhats the price of the 165 inch?
About $160k for the 0.9mm in Beyond Audio’s showroom.

Ok
Impressive!!! Great video!!!
Thank you! 🙏
Finally a home tour RUclips channel that shows house technology! Subbed! Though I have to say the 98" Samsung is too high. ;)
Thank you my friend! Haha, yeah I suspect the customer / designer may have had something to do with that 😉
How much it cost for 150 inch and replace projector?
It depends on a few factors, but currently about $80k for a 1.2 pitch. Price can go up or down based on pitch and processing etc. For a truly remarkable experience - unlike anything you have seen before!
People often complain about the price, but that’s not the real issue for this level of customer. Power, cooling, installation and maintenance requirements are, pixel density is also a big one. Pixel density is one of the biggest reasons why even the wealthiest cinefiles still prefer projectors, unless the screen and room are insanely huge, at which point the detail becomes comparable to 4K or 8K projectors but with the benefits of MicroLED, or when the primary use is for sports and TV. For movies, no matter how far away you are or whether or not you can tell the difference, most people still want at least 4K. As a cinefile myself, I can’t wait for MicroLED to become realistically affordable. Since I prefer cozier rooms, that 110” Samsung 4K MicroLED TV would be perfect for the dedicated TV room, maybe in a few years. A 200” 4K MicroLED Wall would be perfect for a dedicated movie room, but that will be the next level for another decade.
Hey Ronaldo! That's all really good thoughts there. To your first point about managing power, cooling, etc - this is why we partner with strong and capable integrators who can sell, install, and service these custom walls for the high-end client. We are leading a major shift in thinking from projection to microled - even in home theater. I don't think projection will ever "go away" (it will always meet a low-entry pricepoint for dollar per square foot). I'm a huge fan of it myself, having been on the manufacturing side for over 6 years. But, the impact and versatility of our direct-view systems cant be ignored. Now that nearly all high-end companies have very good solutions for non-AT walls, it's taking over - and fast. I totally hear and agree with you you on the room application! That's one of the main reasons why I'm such a big fan of this technology and want to see it grow more and more. The ability to have an amazing high-contrast image even in a bright living room. Out of curiosity, what would a "realistic" price-point (or price range) for a 163" 4K microled wall be for you? Or a 136"?
@@justvideowalls I'm from Brazil, prices are even crazier. The 110" Samsung 4K MicroLED is R$1M, or $180K, up from $150K in the US. That's easily nice apartment/luxury car money around here. To some it's pennies, to me it's currently unjustifiable, no matter how much I love movies. Sound is also very expensive, but it lasts 10 times longer, so video probably shouldn't cost more or even as much. The LG OLED G4 97" is $25K, unfortunately we don't get them officially from LG here, only the C4 83" and the G4 65", they also include Dolby Vision which the Samsung lacks, would be a nice addition to these higher-end models. So triple that for 110" MicroLED sounds about right. It would cost as much as a very nice sound system, wouldn't last as long, but with a very good long warranty and being a new technology for the mainstream, it might make some "sense". In other words, half the current price. Still very expensive, but give it 5 years, we'll probably get there. For the Wall? I have no idea. We are talking about a multi-million home theater, which is completely outside my current reality.
That's good feedback, thanks! Check out our CEDIA coverage for the show coming up in September. I think we'll have something that you might find interesting :)
me: 2,35:1 is too wide that guy: give me 32:9
Haha, pretty much. It's crazy how popular the ultra-wides are. The one in our HQ is really popular for poker night.
Very idiotic install. They could have saved a fortune and bought a nice 100" tv with way better quality.
1. A 100" TV will not fit in the freight elevator. 2. It's not a 16:9 box on the wall, and people love it for that 3. It has no glare which is important for a condo like this with gigantic windows 4. It is far brighter than a TV, also important for bright environments 5. It multi layers for multiple inputs at the same time all in presets controlled by a total home control system All those items = not idiotic.
@@justvideowalls point one is the only valid, if true, the rest is either not true or nobody cares about it.
Looks amazing. Wow!
Thank you!! 🙏
Mike is the man!!!!
Yes he is!
🎉🎉🎉
I’m sorry, that screen should cover the entire wall . . . Looks too small as installed.
It’s pretty big all things considered but yeah it could be bigger!
@@justvideowalls Should be twice the height.
the main issue, it's required a server room, to fit a rack of it's display processors.
Our wall processor in this example only requires 2RU. The rest of the rack is audio systems and whole home control.
is this the samsung i guess thats the only brand who does this right?
No this is our product 🙂
Can they also make a 16:9 aspect ratio?
Of course! We can do a lot of different ratios
I perferred the sony one looks more clean and sleek. This is nothing but a giant computer wall
🤨🧐
Must be nice to be stupid rich.
There’s always someone who has more, but fun can happen at any stage of life 👍
you need frame this thing. i mean edges sgowed insides.
Agreed. Frame is on the way :)
idk if its the camera, but the screen-door effect is INSANE.
Yeah a lot of the moire type pixelization is severely amplified by the camera. When you see it in person it's only noticable if you get close to the wall, and also depends on the pixel pitch. This is a 1.2, so a 0.9 is a lot tighter meaning you can get a lot closer before seeing pixels.
What a great way to promote Walt's TV and Appliance. Kudos to the marketing team and everyone involved in producing this content. I recently saw a special for the model and had been looking for something that would provide more info before my purchase. Keep on rocking!
Hi, thanks for the positive vibes! But I am confused - our product is not available at Walt's TV currently.
so how would that cost ?
About $50k - $60k
I would like to be your apprentice! It’s a nice work though
Wow, thanks
