Thank you! I came into this with really tempered expectations given the physical distance from my eyes. To my surprise, it’s not that bad even at this size. Can’t wait to make the larger version!
Hi! I just posted on a thread you made on Reddit you made with this video. I think I will post that post here and keep tabs on the projects. Someone else says: I don't know if it's the curve of the screens or the camera angle but it looks like driving through a fisheye/weird lens. The immersion looks fantastic though and I commend your work but something looks off to me I say: Its the height of the camera and from being behind his head as well. What's interesting is I thought the bigger you go the more you can get away from the center (drivers eyes) for the perfect recording location. I say: What is also a trip is I was looking at the analytics on my RUclips I got some traffic directed to my video from this threads video , "First Screen Test: LED Wall Sim Rig v0.1." This is the one that got the traffic from this threads video. ruclips.net/video/swPRzPmuW6Y/видео.html I am gonna have to subscribe and see updates on this cool wall!
@@DennisKarlsson these are custom panels from my supplier so there isn’t a specific model number that anyone can purchase. FWIW, the basic physical specs are: 288x216 panel resolution @ 1.25pp, 11x5 panels in dimension, panels are oriented at 20 degrees next to each other, and the full resolution is only 3168 x 1080.
Totally awesome. Looking forward to your next updates. You could make a documentary about the build, I would watch it for sure.
Well done! This is really brilliant! You really should make a longer video to show what exactly we're looking at and how you did it.
Yeah good idea, I’d like to do that! Writing Reddit posts is just easier and faster so I can focus on building.
Please explain more about the whole thing. This is crazy cool.
I just learned about this on Reddit. I'm fascinated. I'll keep going through your other content. I still don't know what this is or how you did it 😂
They’re LED panels so they take a bit more setup than your average monitor. The Reddit posts should get you caught up!
You did it!!! Haha this is great man!
Well done..!
this is awesome man
Holy shit he did it
Bro that’s sick 👍🏎️🔥🔥🔥
that is quite the wagon you got there
This!! Kudos
AWESOME!!!!!
Congrats dude! Loved the uodates you gave us and in the end it looks great. How does it feel in terms of smoothness since the detail looks really nice

What's the response time of the panels?
nice view dude! what rig do you use?
A heavily butchered Sim Lab GT1, peripherals are all Fanatec clubsport with a DD1 base.
VR has entered the chat
What products did you use?
They’re LED panels
@@lorentzfactr951 Yes, I understood that from the title, but I mean more specific details.

@@lorentzfactr951 ok, nice. Thanks for detailed reply. It looks really cool BTW.
This looks very interesting. However, the scale seems wrong, like it’s a giant car and world and you are too small? Can that be improved upon?
Check out my latest POV video, helps give you better idea of what I see
U the guy on the simracing reddit?
Yeah that’s me
It looks good but the color and pixel density honestly look like sh!t. How much money was put into this?
Bro needs some color correction.
The entire screen needs calibration. These cabinets were random surplus pulled from inventory.
At this point, just buy a car and go racing. Very nice setup though, very detailed, but seriously, just go racing lol.
that's a lot of time money and effort to avoid VR :/
Shit this is Not realistic. .
