You're right. The best way to experience the forest and it´s animals is to go there and sit down and listen to the sounds and observe the movements. What a calming film again, thanks!

Yes, it's out there .. provided one is patient, quiet and prepared to 'look'.
And of course .. the coffee 👍 .. necessary 😏.

Hello Erik! one of earlier skills was a scholarship to a very well known school of photography in N.Y.C. to which I became a commercial photographer. No matter the subjects it is many times it is a matter of patience, and what you are looking to capture inside the lenses. Freelancing in nature has its own way of surprising the photographer who is waiting, and realizes the right time to shoot the camera! The deer are always watching, the smaller animals teach us that their places are just has important as ours. Thanks Erik! Peace!

I agree with all the others who have commented; this video made us feel like we were right there with you.
I found the quality of the sound to be awesome. The rubbing of the tree branches, the bird calls, and the light wind in the background made for a true forest audible experience.
Last week, I saw a huge bald Eagle here in my place in Casey county, Ky.; bald eagles have been gone from here for over 150 years but are making a comeback; as are the bears and beaver.
I got one bear on video but surely would have liked to have gotten that eagle in video because I was only 30 feet from it at one point. Maybe next time!
    Enjoy your work Eric!

The shot of the hazel grouse is stunning. They are so hard to spot. And you are absolutely right. It is fascinating to just sit there silently and wait for the animals to come closer and closer. I am chuffed every time I manage to spot an animal that isn’t even aware of my presence.

This video is another great example of how much you know about wildlife! As an Englishman living in Sweden, I feel like I should've started taking notes when I first found your channel .. maybe I'll have to go back and re-watch everything ... 🤔
