I’d love to hear them specifically through a nice acoustic amp. Mic’d up and direct. I think that would be how a lot of singer/songwriter folks would use these.
Thanks for watching Denis! All of the soundbites in the video are a direct input straight from the guitar to an audio interface (these went through Tom's pedalboard for the loop pedal functions)... Everything you're hearing is pretty much what you'd hear through an acoustic amp! If you'd like to hear Tom's playing with none of the chat then you can hear it here: ruclips.net/video/p4Zk1lisXaA/видео.html
I am a loyal fender player and customer. I have a few USA made fenders and a real tube deluxe reverb amp , but not feeling the love for this somehow even after trying one out. Each to their own though.
You asked, Fender answered. The brand new Acoustasonic Player range are in stock now online and instore! 😍 The Acoustasonic series are game changers, giving guitarists a selection of unique instruments where they can dial in traditional acoustic tones, through to electric sounds at the flick of a switch. So... What do YOU think of them? 🤔
I’m looking at the player doing a percussive beat on this model. I thought this was only possible on the American version. Any comments regarding this?
Hey Carlos, thanks for watching. The American Acoustasonics have the body sensor mic setting which is indeed the best for percussive playing. In this video, Tom is using the middle setting (Lo-Fi Piezo) of the Acoustasonic Player to achieve the percussive sounds, which is a slightly driven signal of the under the bridge 'acoustic' pickup. This pickup tends to pick up some of the resonance of the guitar's body. Comparatively you'll find that the body sensor on the USA models have much more clarity with the percussive playing style. That being said, the sounds are still very much achievable with the Players. If you wanted to get an idea of what the percussive elements sound like compared to this one, we have another video of Tom playing on an American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster here: ruclips.net/video/uLMWx68n8GU/видео.html Hope this helps!
Awesome! I just picked up one today and it really does check all the boxes I need for my solo acoustic shows. I do alot of looping and lead playing so this guitar is a dream for what I do.
@@aledantas2k10 I like using the middle selector for percussive sounds. Volume is a little low so I’m using an mxr boost and it sounds great for what I use it for which is kinda like a cajon sound in my looper
Sounding so epic 🤟 Thanks for the support, guys 💥
Thank *YOU* for making such great guitars! 😍
If you are a country player and you play live, you absolutely need one of these. I use mine with a Headrush and it is simply awesome.

I truly did not know that thumping sounds could be heard on this guitar. Thanks for the demo.
The piezo will always pick that up.

That's a shame mate, but at least you gave it a try!

I have a black one❤

Awesome, thanks for your reply!
I'm waiting on a Squier model. $$.... I'd love to have one. Thanks!
That would be cool man, fingers crossed it becomes a reality!
If the strings are to high how can you lower them? Thanks for the review/demo.
It has a bolt on neck that is fully adjustable. You won't need it though, mine was great straight out of the box.
Adjust the truss rod. That will lower the strings. If that doesn’t lower them enough, then take it to the guitar store for a setup.
How does it respond if i where to plug it in to an electric guitar amp?
Bit too much response and breakup kind of makes the sounds a bit muddy across the board. Way better through an acoustic amp.
Does this guitar make any sort of percussive sound when you slap the body?
Yes it does man. Check out our full video on all the sounds and tones etc here - ruclips.net/video/p4Zk1lisXaA/видео.html
A bit, but nothing close to the American one. Since it does not have a body pickup

@@Phillospillo777 Do you like the percussive sound?

It sounded a good idea until we’re told you need to buy a acoustic amp to use with it. Not for me because of that.
Or you could use any speaker that is not an electric guitar amp
??? Acoustic amp is not necessary, they didn’t even use one for this demo, just go straight to the mixing board or audio interface.
廢話太多了!
Oh great a looper. See ya in 10 minutes
