Pinocchio's Monstro Seuqence always amaze me...I mean this was done in 1940..no computer or anything, all hand drawn on paper and hand painted on cels...I have no words...
It was also a big budget for an animated film. The animators had everything they needed. Disney ALWAYS good animation for its blockbusters. They’re a massive corporation after all.
@@amuroray9115 Yeah, but at the time of Pinocchio's release Disney wasn't a big company. They were risking a lot at making these movies and they almost got bankrupt a lot of times.
Honestly I seldom find channels like yours that check all the criteria that I like so much from yours. Your flow/edit and your choice of music! A lot of them fall short to me because I’m not particularly fond the music choices but you always deliver. Plus I’ve found so much cool stuff (such as Our Love from this video) from your videos!
That whale whale was an unholy amount of aggressive, and the animators captured it perfectly. the way the weight was captured was absolutely outrageous
Animation quality doesn't have much to do with budget, it's how much time they have to complete it, that can vary with the production schedule. Also the talent of the individual animator and what they're allowed to do.

have you ever considered doing either a dragons / flight video ? If you take suggestions, I think that'd be an amazing addition to all the great work you do
So of incompetent artists who do not understand how animal bodies move. Of modern artists. Of introverts. Of the lie that introversion is a personality trait. Not just social ineptitude. Of the downfall my eyes pick out in works every where. Of seeing what we draw. Moving bodies in flowing moments which are integral piece with piece to make an animation more then one second page glance to a five minute story. To show life with pencil. I hate your bad help.

The words you are looking for is traditional ilustration.
Dude.
;).
Have a good one.
That Princess Mononoke clip at 6:00 needs to be made into a perfectly looped Screen Saver if it hasn't already been done!!
You gotta hand it to those old school animators. They did their homework to truly capture the essence of the way animals behave and move.

That whale whale was an unholy amount of aggressive, and the animators captured it perfectly. the way the weight was captured was absolutely outrageous

Thanks for all the hard work on your descriptions!
I discovered ur channel a few days ago, what an underrated gem it is!!
*Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki love animals, and their films speak volumes about that.*
These animations are actually better than most modern budget animation

A lot of these seem like they're from films which naturally have more time to put into the animation cuts.
Agreed
TOO I AGREED with you ,Ali Shah

i approve.
2d animations rule
I wonder if there's a sakuga compilation dedicated to horses alone for that Steel Ball Run resume? Because dear lord will they will need it.
gah I just love animation so much
u forgot the amazing animation of crowns in Kizumonogatari, film 1! Maybe in next part... Anyway, this was awesome! Thanks for the content you make!
James Baxter! 🐎
Righteous, dude.
Western animators definitely had a strong suite with Animals.
My favourite channel ❤️
I love me some good eye drugs.

Really love it ♡
Words here. Too numb.
Yeah.
Thanks art person, and our person now.
Fantástica recopilación y música.
Ah the days when animators researched the animals they were animating
Miss em
you are from another era
If you were running away from wolves and had to trick them, what you would you do?
What do you mean? We run together.
Da habe ich doch fast vergessen ein like dazulassen!
I need SHEEPS.... for my reference.
What is the name of the fifth anime that appears in this video?
(sword fight with wolves)
no monkes :(

Wolf children yeah
