Thanks for your feedback on the KYD Quick Guide. This is a great way for us to share a little bit more about the places we visit. Especially the things we were unable to do or see. Here is the Quick Guide for Estes, CO www.keepyourdaydream.com/estes

Hey guys when you light Traeger, set it at your desired temp with lid open. When it starts to light it will start smoking, more and more and when it finally gets lit the smoke will dissipate...and you will hear a torch like sound. Once you hear that you can close the lid and pre heat! Good luck they are awesome!!

You did not stay in Estes Colorado! The town is called Estes Park. Not just Estes. You also mispronounced the name of the town. Additionally, idiots like you that allow their children to swim in Alpine Lakes should have been thrown out of the National Park! Deodorant, shampoo, Hairspray, residual soap Etc, is extremely Hazard to the biodiversity of our lakes in the park. Yes, even if it is biodegradable. Additionally, what the hell are you doing traveling during a pandemic? Total idiots! Please stay out of our state.

Hello to Marc, Trish, Carson and Caleb. I just love your cinematography. It's some of the best, if not the best of all the channels that I follow. I can't wait to get to Colorado and all destinations west. I really miss the grandeur of the mountains and the serenity of the great plains areas. I'm not with you in person, but be assured I am with you in spirit. So glad you all can be out there in God's Country. Safe Travels and Happy Trails!

After watching your channel for a year, we have finally caught up and are now watching live! You’ve inspired our little family in so many ways, not just by camping but in attitudes and our outlook on life. We’ve “Started Small and started now.” Because of your inspiration, we are brainstorming and planning on how we can travel more and be more mobile. We appreciate you, your positivity, and look forward to your adventures!

When Caleb stepped in and said "This is KYD...safety message" and Marc was jumping in the background...I cracked up, full belly laugh...So funny....I want to just also comment how wonderful you guys are. I ache to travel when I watch your video and wish my kids were young again to take them on adventures...and nothing usually makes me wish for that. LOL. I hope you know in your hearts, all of you how special you are as a whole. So many families couldn't do what you are doing...and yet, they could if they would learn. To go on your adventures, to make the videos, to everyday living. It's incredible. But Trish, you do WAY to much regarding the kids...I mean, sorry, no one wants to hear someone else's opinion on how to be a parent but my kids did their own laundry when they got tall enough to put things in the washer and helped make food. They have become self sufficient adults...and 4 are boys, who now make their own food, wash their own clothes, etc. You are super mom and that won't change even if your boys start taking care of themselves more. Having said that, your kids are actually great, you just seem overwelmed sometimes. So much love to your adventure team. HUGS.

I needed this video. After 4 months of our truck being in the shop getting a lot of overdue repairs and upgrades, We get it back to go on our first trip this year. Boondocking in the Blue ridge mountains of Virginia. While there, a tree limb messes up camper roof, and awning. After 4 more weeks Insurance repairs the camper and on the way home Transmission goes out in the Truck. Sorry to see the problems you are having but glad to see its not only me and its only a season.

It may sound hokey, but my first trip to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park was truly a spiritual experience for me. A very dear friend who had lived in CO for 20 years took me with her and we had a blast. We had both seen the Shining so of course we had to go through the Stanley Hotel. Then we enjoyed a cowboy barbecue with live entertainment, followed the next day by a sunrise horseback ride. Oh my gosh, it was surreal to be at the top of the mountain as the sun crested over the top. Part way down the mountain we met up with a few other people and the wranglers made us breakfast on the trail. BEST TRIP EVER!!

I'm impressed you can bounce on the balls of your feet like that, btw it took us two years to figure out the proper way to bring down the front awning on our AS. The owner we bought it from obviously had no idea either and that is where we got our misinformation! Awning life is good now!

Hi Trish and Marc. Great video. Sad to hear you set your Traeger on fire. I did that once. My husband figured out that we needed to set the temp for the Treager 50 to 75 degrees past what you actually want the Treager desired cooking temp to be. When the Treager reaches a little past your desired temp then back off the temp to that desired temp to cook. We haven’t set our Treager on fire since. We’ve have our travel Traeger going on 4 years and we love it. Good luck!

My family has been looking at getting a travel trailer but we've been debating back and forth over which one, do I need a bigger truck, etc. Your message in earlier episodes to start now with what you've got has motivated us. Traeger grill problems. Go to Traeger grill recall website and see if your grill has a recall. We have the Ranger tailgater, they had to send us a new part because of fire flare ups! I called them and talked to someone and they were very helpful and nice. Thank you for the great videos/info👍👍👍

Love you guys! Your drone/video/music just gets better and better. Also, love the humor and glitches. Do you have a playlist available for the all the songs you put up? I'd love your playlist to listen and be a part of KYD while driving to our next spot! Also practical question, if you guys get sick out of state and need medical care do you have special insurance to cover that? The dog?

Marc and Trish: Last week I told you I added Ouray to our Colorado trip in 5 weeks because of the video. We will first be at RMNP for 5 days at the Glacier Basin Campground, but we already had that reservation made - really! We are NOT pseudo-campground/destination stalking you. True. Story! : ). We did squeeze in a few days at Capitol Reef National Park in Torrey, Utah before Ouray - we were there last year and love it - especially for the Milky Way filming I do.
Last August, we hiked to Emerald Lake during the day and then I hiked back up there at sunset and filmed the Milky Way alone until 1AM - it was a bit scary coming back down to the parking lot - every noise sounded like a bear or mountain lion wanting to kill this retired Hoosier elementary music teacher. It was fun seeing you at places so familiar to us - we have been there and Estes Park numerous times. We were just (last week) at nearby Lyons, visiting our daughter and family before they move to Seattle - we had to see her four girls including our 1-year old identical twin granddaughters. Fun video for us and be safe!

That national park in Estes was absolutely amazing, even in December, completely covered in snow. Proper gear made a snow hike amazing, and my hubris made for a shoe-slide down the steep frozen parking lot end in hilarity, wet clothes, and a bruised tailbone and ego.

Estes Park hiking is amazing! Loved it, but I was much much younger then. 🤣 Also, hiking in the Lake Tahoe areas, both Cali and Nevada side is amazing! But pulling a rig around Donner Pass is mortifying! 🫣

I recently found this on FB the other day.

Mark, we rock an airstream also and have the dreaded macerator toilet. Learned to keep extra fuses for it after we once blew one from similar type situation and figured out it was a blown fuse. The secret with these types of toilets I believe is to use plenty of water when flushing to keep things moving. Also, for the awning I use a 3 step stool to hand tighten the awning wheels. Hate using the rod for that purpose. 🙂

I bumped up the fuse to 20 amp to give me a bit more power :) I have extras for sure now!

Periodically with the Traeger you need to clean out the hopper. It can accumulate dust and could be the reason for flaming up. Just a quick vacuum and that will probably fix it. Keep up the great content!! Also, clean out the igniter area.

Oh my gosh. You went right past our home at the Windsor exit. Isn’t RMNP beautiful? Our son worked on The Shining right after college. He was a set designer on that one. You two take everything in stride without getting upset. We have been traveling this past week from Colorado to Indiana to get some things fixed on our rig. Every single time we take it out it seems like something breaks. So enjoyed your video of our awesome back yard. Have fun in Jackson. ❤️❤️

Best place in the country! Always been a family favorite! Holds so many memories! My better half actually stayed in the honeymoon suite of the Stanley Hotel when he went out for hunting trips! We had connections back then!

About the Traeger: I have had the same issue with both of mine. The flame will back up into the auger and start burning the pellets in the auger and hopper. What I have found, is if I keep the ash cleaned out of the bowl where the pellets dump in onto the igniter it helps prevent the flame from backing into the auger tube. Hope this helps😁

We absolutely love Estes Park. We live about 80 miles from there and go there all the time! It is fun to see your reaction on all the elk. We think of it as normal when for other people it is a new experience. I hope you liked Kind coffee. That is always our first stop when we get to town.

Oh so beautiful out there in the west, with the mountains. I recognized that view around Jackson Hole since I have been there myself. Happy Trails.
