As someone who was regular visitor to Sleepy Hollow, I am very fascinated by this. Florida was always a place of mystery in the Revolutionary era of our country. Very good investigation, Jay. The only thing I might add is to try and reference older road maps to cross reference. But something tells me that if and if that old Oak is still around? it's going to stand out big time because of its sheer size.
This is really great seeing all the Halloween stuff around your house and the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow in Florida is awesome and a interesting legend to hear about, the cemetery was also great to see as well Thank You Tampa Jay.☕👍🇺🇲
It was awesome seeing all those ole oak trees 😊..mossy oaks are so magical and beautiful... and enjoyed the story, very spooky.. I know Fairchild oak in Florida is over 400 yrs old.. it's incredible.. thank u for sharing
sounds like you should do more stories from your books, ones that would benefit a trip within your means to hunt these locations down, i liked this one.
This video made me feel like I had a guest speaker in our classroom back in middle school. Class is in session, and I was here to learn. I had no idea any of this was ever a thing! Thanks for telling the tale!
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is a spooky season, Halloween masterpiece Very well organized Halloween themed house. The shelves are perfectly arranged.🎃👻
Always sharing interesting FL stories! I wonder if someone stole the neighborhood sign? Or if they have to replace them often. I think I’ve passed it before going back ways to Disney! Also that “hey babe” when Cris’s message popped up was too cute!!! You kids, awe ♥️👏☺️
Jay, Cris really did an AMAZING job on the bookshelf. She worked really hard-I watched the video she did on her channel. The 7th ink shirts are awesome.
Really cool video Jay. Thanks for putting in the effort. I can't believe there aren't any geocaches about this history. Gotta love the backroads of Florida.
Hey I was just watching the video and around the 6:15 mark. The tree formation looks spooky. It looks like either the mummy when he’s opening his mouth about ready to swallow the plane. Or the scream mask. Very spooky
I really enjoyed your awesome little tours of places in Florida. The spooky history and stories really make it feel like I’m there with you. Thanks 🙏🖤 I ❤️you and Cris the Girl 🎃🐈⬛💀👻🦇🎃
Good morning Jay, that was so cool, I love me a good urban legend story. I wonder if the owner of that private road would allow you access or maybe knows the legend. The pumpkin head reminds me of the classic movie Pumpkin head..loved that movie perfect time of the year to watch it again but so is every night. Whilst you're all enjoying Halloween I'll be on a 12+ month walk around and all over New Zealand on a adventure. Much love my friend have a blessed rest of your week.
I love Cris & she did a great job on the book shelves. I have a similar style. She’s lucky to have found someone with similar interests. My ex husband didn’t get it. Lol. 🎃👻 Enjoying your videos as well!
Another great video!! Someone needs to put that chunky doll at a haunted Doll museum when people are doing a paranormal investigation😂😂😂😂😂. Omg how funny that would be! Spirit stores, Michaels arts and crafts like you said Lowe's, home Depot they all have stuff. But after the holidays is when you should stack up. Save lots of money 🤑🤑🤑
HEY,.. JAY ! WOW, Man That was so cool the way you setup The beginning of The ( Headless Horseman ) story Very Scary ! OK, Jay Just wanted to Give you a shout Out and say Thanks for the Awesome Video's Take care and Stay safe on all Your Travels ☠️💀✌️🤘 Mark D. Barre, Vt.
The gate you pulled up to with all the locks is to the town of Gardner owned by the Bronson's. And the property before the turnpike by the tower belong to my Wife's grandparents and is called "heart D ranch".
Pretty cool, searching for a needle in a haystack, you really need to try a bar or a tavern in that area and speak to the locals, they might be able to point you in the right direction🤔
This is a cool Legend getting ready for the Halloween season. I liked the story and in the end, noticed the sign Mildred Bass and wonder if she was related to Ernest T Bass. 🤔... Thank you Ta💀 mpa 💀 Jay 💀. Stay 💀 safe 💀 in 💀 a 💀 skeeeery 💀 time 💀 of 💀 the 💀 year 💀... BOOOoooo 💀.. 💀
Hi Tampa Jay just watched your video it's Wednesday morning 10.20am the 4th of September another great video 💙 I always love watching your videos no matter what there about or who there about your the best love from Michelle over here in Nottingham in England ♥️ happy Halloween 😀 ❤️ 🎉🎉🎉😊😅😂❤❤
That’s my grandparent’s house you were at. It’s over 100 years old and was originally moved from Kissimmee to where it is now. I know the tree you are looking for.
@@TampaJay towards the beginning of the video you were at the little creek and it was a curve and the house is on the left side. My grandparents always told me that it was called dead man’s curve. People till this day wreck like crazy on it. If you look at the gate there’s a lone oak tree towards the front of the property. I was always told that it was the tree “back in the day” where people were beheaded or hanged. Don’t know how true it is, but that’s what my grandparents told me. The property now is a wedding venue.
@@TampaJay I forgot to mention you showed a gate with a bunch of locks. That whole property is owned by the Bronson’s and there’s also a hunting camp back in there. It’s beautiful!
I went to my local Home Depot in North Port, and I'm happy to report that Halloween has returned to Home Depot. They have so much stuff there. Happy Halloween TJ
I have a book Weird Florida written by Charlie Carlson. He covers the subject. There are actually several versions. If you are interested in doing more research I think you will find out that folk legends simply grab our imaginations.
As you know I love the Paranormal and roadside oddities. Jay you need a sp7 or sp11 this might just help you with your adventures for Halloween and other times. I love the sp7 but the sp11 is really good too. That oak tree is going to be huge if its still available to see. I wished you could have stayed to go farther in to a deep dive but im sure you will come back cause something tells me this one just might have you curious to see. By the way i like the bookshelves. Halloween and Christmas are my 2 favorite holidays. Hope your mom is coming down this year for Christmas or your going home for Christmas i love to see your mom on a few videos. She is so sweet and she gets into whatever you are doing at the moment. Its very special to see such loving and caring parent these day's. Love the not so much ahead😅. I hope you deep dive into this one more. Have you thought about contacting the writer? Does mark know more maybe? I can't wait to see if much comes. Now go home and catch that 🐸 🐸 🐸 🐸 🐸. Cool pumpkin 🎃 😎

An interesting journey to the headless horseman tree. Bella loved the pumpkin.
Jay as it says in the story , ask the natives…… in that area or go to the local town hall visitor centres . Fascinating 👍
I love your historical roadside videos! So many great places in rural Florida!

Awesome Halloween 🎃 decor!!
That's pretty neat
The lock set up is for multiple people being able to get in and out. Each person has their own key and it revolves.
Pretty cool, searching for a needle in a haystack, you really need to try a bar or a tavern in that area and speak to the locals, they might be able to point you in the right direction🤔
