      It's a common occurrence in the travelling community. I worked with this community for a bit and it was the biggest argument I had. I have seen the best of everything and then newborns to less than a year old lying on the passenger seat. Social services get involved but try and take a child from them without actual proof and be prepared for a lawsuit. The usual "this is discrimination" is thrown at you. It's maddening.

    We use to have a farm on a State Highway corridor.
    We got so sick n tired of members of the public opening our gates, we had to padbolt them shut.
    The main reason people stopped was to pick the mushrooms growing in our front paddocks.
    They were able to open a gate, yet lacked the skills to either shut the gate behind them, OR climb over.
    We were bloodly lucky there were no accidents involving stock.

    So sad that the children had to go without their mother due to her inability to prioritise their needs. There is nothing wrong with walking to the shops.

    • @elenawilliams32
      @elenawilliams32 20 дней назад +2

      I didn't have my licence when my child was a baby/young, I'd take her in her pram, walk, catch busses and trains. It's absolutely doable.
      Even as a young apprentice I had one of my bosses offer to drive me home when we finished work late, I only went once as he drove like a freaking lunatic. I had 5 friends die in separate car accidents. 3 by drunk drivers, 2 by speeding drivers who ran red lights.
      All avoidable deaths.
      This woman's kids should obviously be a priority to her...
      Pathetically, they're not. Ugh.

    😂😂 in the 80’s I can remember fighting my siblings & cousin to get to sit on the wheel arch in the back of my aunt’s transit van 😂😂 if you were lucky enough to get either of the wheel arches you could potentially stabilise your journey around sharp bends and massive dips and hills on the road by gripping with your fingertips the millimetre raised metal casing of the wheel arch design. If you hadn’t been so fortunate to get a prized position then you just had to bob and bounce along with the multitude of dogs packed in with us along with whatever deliveries she had for her pet shop 😂😂. Only her favourite dog got to sit up front until she got a va that had two front passenger seats, then it was my sister and the favourite dog, because one of them was the oldest and the other more likely to bite 😂😂 them were the days lol! 😂😂

      It's often members of the public that leave gate un secure. Lived in the Irish countryside my whole life and animals are intelligent and people can be very careless. The whole situation was very tragic. It's usually sheep on the road where I live and they seem to be able to teleport at times, electric fences barbed wire nothing seems to stop them it's usually the same pair of lambs over and over.

      It was not a queue of vehicles with tail lights, brake lights, hazards etc. that you may occasionally see on your way to Tesco’s on a Sunday morning.
