It's a common occurrence in the travelling community. I worked with this community for a bit and it was the biggest argument I had. I have seen the best of everything and then newborns to less than a year old lying on the passenger seat. Social services get involved but try and take a child from them without actual proof and be prepared for a lawsuit. The usual "this is discrimination" is thrown at you. It's maddening.
We use to have a farm on a State Highway corridor. We got so sick n tired of members of the public opening our gates, we had to padbolt them shut. The main reason people stopped was to pick the mushrooms growing in our front paddocks. They were able to open a gate, yet lacked the skills to either shut the gate behind them, OR climb over. We were bloodly lucky there were no accidents involving stock.
Traveller people….give zero shits for anything or anyone. They claim police harassment when they’re stopped even though they’re breaking laws. Make me sick.
So sad that the children had to go without their mother due to her inability to prioritise their needs. There is nothing wrong with walking to the shops.
I didn't have my licence when my child was a baby/young, I'd take her in her pram, walk, catch busses and trains. It's absolutely doable. Even as a young apprentice I had one of my bosses offer to drive me home when we finished work late, I only went once as he drove like a freaking lunatic. I had 5 friends die in separate car accidents. 3 by drunk drivers, 2 by speeding drivers who ran red lights. All avoidable deaths. This woman's kids should obviously be a priority to her... Pathetically, they're not. Ugh.
@@PatriciaLane-x2p Wind your neck in , the fact you laughed and found it funny tells me the sort of person you are. sorry but the owners of the horses should have made sure the horses were secure,, that man had a child seat in his car, what if the child had been in the car
It's often members of the public that leave gate un secure. Lived in the Irish countryside my whole life and animals are intelligent and people can be very careless. The whole situation was very tragic. It's usually sheep on the road where I live and they seem to be able to teleport at times, electric fences barbed wire nothing seems to stop them it's usually the same pair of lambs over and over.

@@columbmurray it’s ok, maybe you don’t understand what the word ‘queue’ means. This was a solitary, unlit vehicle on an unlit stretch of road.
