One Brush Smokey Eye for Beginners: Eye Shader

I had asked you all last week what video you wanted to see next and it was a close call between this one and the Inglot brand focus video but the one brush video won by 3 votes haha so thats what you're getting first! Don't worry I'm still uploading the Inglot brand focus video, that will be up next week :) After than I have a couple of fun Christmas tutorials!
For my last one brush video I used a blending brush and that video was more innovative than this one. In todays video I'm using a standard eye shader brush and I'm just using the angles of the brush in various different ways to create my smokey eye. i love that you showed what you were doing on your hand as well. sometimes it can be hard to see exactly what movement is being made on the eye :)
This look is absolutely gorgeous! I never thought that slate grey would make blue eyes stand out. So stunning!
+JekkaDoon80 Thanks so much :) Yeah I was actually surprised myself. The grey kind of has a blue hue to it so I wasn't expecting it to make my eyes pop but I think it compliments blue eyes quite nicely! X

That palette looks gorgeous but I don't know if I can get Sleek in the US. That's probably for the best though bc I have lots of eyeshadow already. Thanks for another tutorial!
+Mari CC I'm not sure if Sleek is available in the US, it could be though! It would be unusual for us here in Ireland to have something that you guys don't haha. There is an Irish site though called Cloud 10 Beauty that sell Sleek makeup and the offer worldwide shipping. Eimear. When you added the highlight at the end did you use another clean brush? If I tried this I think I would get the black mixed with the highlight. I struggle to use one brush for these kinds of looks. It looks great on you and you make it look so easy.
+Totajee79 Yes I used the exact same type of brush, just a cleaner version! The reason being is that I didn't have any remover to hand. If you look at my other one brush video I talked about the process a little more, how I worked my way from light to dark and then once I reached the darkest colour how I cleaned the brush so I could add lighter colours if needed. I've linked that in the description box so hopefully you will find that helpful! If not, and if you have any more questions just let me know :) X

+Mrs Ismail The brush I used in the video is actually a flat shader brush. Depending on the company the brush might go by a different name but yes of course you can :D X

She was actually one of the first RUclipsrs I started watching :) I haven't gotten around to trying out her shadows yet though as they have been a little hard to get. Beauty Bay now stock them though and I've been meaning to place an order but with the black Friday and cyber Monday sales a lot of the shades I wanted were sold out. I definitely will be trying them though, hopefully sooner rather than later! X
