Great, we have the same problem when camping in out Honda Passport SUV and I decided we needed push/pull fans like this. One question though, is the gutter screen fine enough to keep out mosquitos? How well does it work in real life?

OH man Frank.... this was the BEST thing I added to my overlanding gear. after using this consistently for over 2 years, they work perfectly. The mesh is small enough to keep out ALL bugs and mosquitos. Nothing gets in. It has held up nicely and circulates air well (I wish I could get a little more power out of it). I may end up adding another set of fans making it 3 fans linked on each side.

Great! I did something a little different. Same fans like you have but I had a large sheet of 1/4" plexiglass (Perspex if you are in the UK). I made the window panels out of that and for the screen I used the screen material I have on my house windows. I made a "tent" of the screen that gives me a larger surface area for the fans to draw through and thus less pressure drop = more flowrate. I have room for a third fan on each side should we need it. Have yet to try it out. I also added a fast charging USB port for the rear seats that is used to charge my jump pack battery, which is then used to run the fans. Fans run for 10 hours and uses 50% of the jump pack battery.@@RoadRashOffRoad

Thank you Will send Kate. It definitely accomplishes what it’s intended to do, if you sleep inside the Jeep. 🙏🏼

Oh man…. I didn’t know I needed it until I went camping near a lake in TN in July. It was hot and muggy and I couldn’t crack the windows because of Bugs.
      This is THE PERFECT solution.
However My tiny little USB battery doesn’t keep a charge all night. It runs consistently for about 5 hrs. I’m going to have to find a USB battery that has a little more juice. 👍🏼

How did you zip tie them to the screen?

      S
sorry I didn't show a clear visual of the zip tie install. At 6:22 in the video, I put a white zip tie through the hole of the screen and wrap it around the black "circle fan protector" on the outside of the fan.
