Greetings from Scotland! Your look of utter confusion is actually quite normal for the first time seeing and hearing Diana sing. She was just 18yo here. Okay, you need a little backstory to get your head around just how big this tip of the iceberg is! Sorry, this is quite long. Diana is 21yo currently and I've been following her career since she was around 13yo. Diana is actually a natural *Dramatic Contralto* so the lower registers are her comfort zone but she has increased her range even more since this (higher and lower). As you heard, she also naturally sings with *polyphonic overtones* so it sounds like many voices at the same time! Any song, any genre, in any language, Diana can sing it and improve it! So this is a little back story to help you understand what helped to"create" this unique phenomenon:- Diana's birthmother had multiple miscarriages but when Diana came along, she seemed to hate her. She verbally and physically abused her, trying to drown her and belittle her. It all culminated when (at 3yo) a passing relative found her in her home with a broken collarbone and several other injuries. She went for the authorities who removed Diana from her birthmothers care and placed her in an orphanage. For almost 2 years Diana never gave up hope and she knew that she was meant for something better. (This story is in her Wikipedia entry) Finally her new mother (Irina Ponik, who worked as a masseuse there occasionally) Signed her adoption papers and took her home. She vowed to pay Irina back for her kindness. Irina had a real struggle because Diana had obviously been badly affected by the experiences and at 5yo, she had a very bad stammer. It is very recent and a really accentuates her beautiful unique voice. Diana is a natural Dramatic Contralto but she also posses a huge range, you are right you barely cracked the surface with "Can't help falling in love" she can go both lower and higher than what she did here and as for complexity try to listen to her singing "Rechenka" from when she was 14 years old, this will give you an approximation of how incredibly complex her vocal powers are. Whatever you see from her just click on it, there is no other human on this planet that sounds like her and she sings everything from rap to Opera, you will never get bored. I am guessing that your video got blocked in Russia - Belarus - and Kazakhstan, where most of her main audience is, if you want to surpass this problem and also the blocks you will receive from other reactions to her videos all you have to do is upload your reactions to her as private or unlisted, when they get blocked then file a dispute as entertainment and the videos will get unblocked after exactly 48 hours, then you can turn them public and you will lose no uptime.

Diana has such a unique and rare talent you are right. She has such a unique voice, and I believe she transports us each time somewhere... I think also due to her very traumatic childhood up until she got adopted, that experience in a way made her soul stronger and she always transfers those dark emotions that she lived in a way in her serious songs... I personally feel that each time, but she does it beautifully and powerfully.

But we must all know that there are backing tracks in this performance, so "two voices at the same time" or "two notes at the same time" comments should be taken into account carefully. Indeed, Diana's voice is extremely rich in texture and timbre, we get the same feeling even in her truly raw live performances. Now, (please) get down to the rabbit hole and enjoy the ride!
"Dramatic Contralto" is a very rare tone of voice. But Diana can still go decently high, not as high as Dimash, but based on how deep she can go, her range is pretty big. Please watch "Rechenka". It showcases her ability to play with different sounds, including the way she can apply her yodling talent.

This was a singing contest where the singers are judged by the other contestants. There were many accomplished performers in the show. This was the first performance and you could tell many of them had not heard Diana sing before. Your reaction was their reaction. It almost feels like you are hearing sounds you've never heard before and your brain has trouble interpreting them.

One video of Diana's, in my sight, is a total masterpiece the like of which I don't remember ever seeing before in my long life. It's a must see for anyone that loves singing with unending emotion. The background of the song is essential to know. The title of the song is "Ornery (or "Fastidious" or "Finicky") Horses". The song has nothing to do with horses in reality - the horses are being used as a metaphor for life. Greetings from Scotland! Your look of utter confusion is actually quite normal for the first time seeing and hearing Diana sing. She was just 18yo here. Okay, you need a little backstory to get your head around just how big this tip of the iceberg is! Sorry, this is quite long.
Diana is 21yo currently and I've been following her career since she was around 13yo. Diana is actually a natural *Dramatic Contralto* so the lower registers are her comfort zone but she has increased her range even more since this (higher and lower). As you heard, she also naturally sings with *polyphonic overtones* so it sounds like many voices at the same time! Any song, any genre, in any language, Diana can sing it and improve it! So this is a little back story to help you understand what helped to"create" this unique phenomenon:-
Diana's birthmother had multiple miscarriages but when Diana came along, she seemed to hate her. She verbally and physically abused her, trying to drown her and belittle her. It all culminated when (at 3yo) a passing relative found her in her home with a broken collarbone and several other injuries. She went for the authorities who removed Diana from her birthmothers care and placed her in an orphanage. For almost 2 years Diana never gave up hope and she knew that she was meant for something better. (This story is in her Wikipedia entry) Finally her new mother (Irina Ponik, who worked as a masseuse there occasionally) Signed her adoption papers and took her home. She vowed to pay Irina back for her kindness. Irina had a real struggle because Diana had obviously been badly affected by the experiences and at 5yo, she had a very bad stammer. It was recommended that she be taken for singing lessons to help this and immediately it was recognised that Diana had perfect pitch and an excellent ear for music and songs. 1 year later, at 6yo, Diana was performing solo on stage!
This young unique phenomenon sang everywhere and anywhere she could, working constantly to earn money for the family who rescued her. Congratulations! You discovered one of the mist incredible and unique vocalists there is (and my all-time favorite voice). I really enjoy watching professionals discover Diana for the first time. Yes, you just scratched the surface. There is a whole universe to discover with Diana. She recently sang Sting's "desert rose" that is jaw dropping. It is very recent and a really accentuates her beautiful unique voice. She is a very prolific performer, singing live constantly in all sorts of venues, so there is a deep well of performances to source from. Diana is a natural Dramatic Contralto but she also posses a huge range, you are right you barely cracked the surface with "Can't help falling in love" she can go both lower and higher than what she did here and as for complexity try to listen to her singing "Rechenka" from when she was 14 years old, this will give you an approximation of how incredibly complex her vocal powers are.
Whatever you see from her just click on it, there is no other human on this planet that sounds like her and she sings everything from rap to Opera, you will never get bored.
I am guessing that your video got blocked in Russia - Belarus - and Kazakhstan, where most of her main audience is, if you want to surpass this problem and also the blocks you will receive from other reactions to her videos all you have to do is upload your reactions to her as private or unlisted, when they get blocked then file a dispute as entertainment and the videos will get unblocked after exactly 48 hours, then you can turn them public and you will lose no uptime.
Unfortunately that is what I did. This dispute is the full 30 days and I didn't want to make everyone wait so long. Hopefully it will resolve soon!

She has such a unique voice, and I believe she transports us each time somewhere... I think also due to her very traumatic childhood up until she got adopted, that experience in a way made her soul stronger and she always transfers those dark emotions that she lived in a way in her serious songs... She is also poliphonic, wich means that she can sing more than one note at the same time. She is known as The the Queen of Goosebumps.
