I love this game to death but one thing that really frustrates me is that in missions like this they don’t specify the type of trailer / attachment required - just the crane. Giant log you’d think long log carrier - but no!
I had a simple job to do, drop off 4 metal beams in 4 locations but due to my bad choices turned into a rescue mission losing 2 trucks and the another running out of fuel, called a pal in on co-op to sort it, such a good game even tho frustrating at times!!

I truely hope they fit the crane on that truck before release of Phase 3. I really like the P12 but I'm running it with metal detector module on it all the time cause it looks so empty! That or a modded, shorter version of the P12 would be just great!
You always could had the big crane on the P12..
I am level 20 and made that mission with the royal as a crane and the catapilla truck(I mean the normal truck not the big as yellow catapilla) as a Transport for these trees.

@@gamevideos999 because you had the wrong setup. That pole trailer is the right way. Trailer you use in the video is just for medium logs.
Not packing the cargo makes it easier, unpacked cargo has no weight 😁

I've restarted this contract twice after putting the log in the rail car but not being able to "unload" it.
Yeah that is happening to me too. I've restarted the mission 7 times and it still won't work.
i had this problem too, used a crane to put a scout on top of the loaded log so that i was "in the zone", then i could manage cargo, hope this helps

Lol yes it's part of phase 3.
Take it out of auto on a hill & in mud. Use the L & H gears.
P12 is a torque beast, high gear is useless on it it keeps bogging down. This truck is way more efficient in auto even tho it can be a bit annoying to have it downshifting sometimes. Best thing would be good old fully manual transmission from Mudrunner. Leave it in 3rd and it probably would never die.
@@asapslide3036 absolutely! It’s to bad they didn’t put that in that’s what I loved about the old mudrunner was seeing some trucks shine with some good ol fashion clutch works
I like how their taking the auto load out an having to make use of cranes, up till now I didn’t even bother with that crane because I could just auto load things but now I like that I need it!
Using cranes is tedious and time consuming. It sucks.
