This video feels much more like a marketing video than an actual review... Hard to trust a "Full Review" when there isn't even a mention of possible negatives.

I run the non vented version and for a daily they are fantastic.

I wore a 43 in previous version and ordered again for the new V2. Big mistake. This seasons V2 boot is a tighter fit so I had to return. Don't repeat don't downsize

Thanks for the feedback! It is interesting how some manufactureres make this mistake and it gets out to the market. I will keep this in mind for my future reviews, thanks again and be safe!

Don’t repeat the same size 43, but don’t downsize below the 43? So are you saying to go up one size? Many people are stating they went down a size since the 1R v2’s run a little larger.

Hey an odd question but will these be suitable for electric skateboard riding? My board can hit 55mph but normally I stay around 45mph or lower. I'm looking for protection and something with good grip

These are great boots as far as protection and grip…unfortunately I can’t speak to the skateboarding aspect though! I wish I had more experience in this area for you. The soles are really grippy and I’m guessing that they would be helpful if you crashed going 45mph on your skateboard! Good luck, be safe!!!

Most thorough review thus far on these highlighting updates. Good vid man and couldn't help but notice youre rocking ZF. 👌 So when you say you wore a size smaller than the v1s what does that mean? I normally wear a 12.5 or 13 for comfort. By size down do you mean half size or full? I've heard these and other A stars run on the larger side.

Thanks! I went down 1 size according to the European chart which was equivalent to one full size American. Take note that I don't have wide feet and prefer a fit that isn't too loose when most of the guys I ride with don't like a boot that is snug. Unfortunately, your size options look to be a 1 full size change from 12.5 to 13.5. Personally, I would order the size 48 and 49 and try them both on and return the one that doesn't fit the way you prefer, but I know some people don't want to bother with the return process. Good luck and be safe!

I just bought these and the top of these boots rubs at my ankles and is VERY stiff. It kind of digs into the side of my ankle.

Always wear boots that protect your shin. Until you had a crash you won't understand why

I have been thinking about that very point lately as I have tended to steer away from the "race" boots but you are spot on! I would rather be over protected than under protected! Any suggestions on which tall boot to review? Thanks for the comment, be safe!
