I just bought these. Some advice: I wear a 10.5 to 11 in normal shoes so i ordered a 10.5 (or 45 in EU size) and it was WAY too big, im talkin huge. So, i ordered a 9.5 (44 EU) size and it fits perfect. But Van says it fits true to size for him so do with this what you will. I just returned the ones that didn't fit and ordered 1 size down so it wasn't a big deal.
Are these taller than Alpinestars Faster 3 rideknit? Protection-wise would this be more protective than faster 3? Are these less comfortable than faster 3?

RK I have these, but non-perforated. I ride all year round in Wisconsin. I wear wool socks, and these boots during 35 degrees and my feet feel slightly cold after an hour of riding. I plan buy these again.
I've been having a pair of these since I broke my foot in 2016. I got them around 2017 I think can't remember. Same exact boot so idk how long they been out but I know atleast 3 years. I like them I wear them most of the time I get on my bike, broken foot is not cool lol. Actually going to get another pair in a smaller size soon I been waiting for something new but I haven't seen anything better for me aside from the Dianese equivalent but they run too narrow for my wide foot.
@@shreedemkmedia1898 Not for me, but I always got the vented version. I live in Calinfornia so It doesn't rain alot and I have sweaty feet lol. I have worn them in heavy rain a few times and they are much better to deal with than regular shoes and they don't get soaked. So with that said if I rode in the rain more I'd go with the non perforated option. I can only assume they would be good enough. If it rains that much then just find some that are specifically rated for that.

I have these. Broke in after 30 mins around the house. Perfect damn boot for relaxing rides. They feel better than my normal shoes.

I would say these are a little more protective, offer a similar height and a touch less comfort than the Rideknit 3 (not a huge difference). - Van

I don't like how this style of boot slopes down at the back. Good boots, though.
It seems weird when not on your foot. But when shifting. They feel great and the dip makes more sense then.
