Which is the gauge with the larger, bent needle, and has a backside that is covered by a bright Red label with a white block "W", for Wilson Sporting Goods,Inc. Versus the Non-Logo gauge which has a significantly smaller, straight needle and an all black backside. They are easy to tell apart. According to the NFL's scientific adviser, NE's balls should have been between 11.32 and 11.52. According to the Half-time pressures taken with the Logo gauge, the Pats balls averaged 11.47 psi, right in the range. After spending 3 mill on the investigation and finding the balls were good to go, Wells and Goodell decide the Ref's were lying about the gauge they used and decided to go with the Non-logo gauge that gave pressure .5 psi lower. Why they think the ref's are lying they never say, in fact they never even discuss the Ref's testimony, and since no hearing was ever held the Ref's never testify nor does Wells get put on the stand to explain why he thinks the Ref's are both lying. So why did Goodell violate the Hearing requirement? Was he afraid of the Ref's testifying, and Wells being put on the stand? I'd say so.
You can tell that Colin is totally in awe of Bill. Don't get me wrong, I like Colin, but it's like that high school thing where he's the guy who gets good grades and is going to Harvard, but the other guy, has a Camaro and is dating the hottest chick in school. +Casey Pickle Bill said 2012, you're thinking of 2013. Also, Russell was a rookie and Randle was basically a rookie (super young, only played 15 minutes the previous year), so the Lakers young talent is much younger and less experienced than the 50ish win Warriors were.
