Eduardo Sotelo, you have made the same comment several times on this thread. It is ok for others to show admiration for Clarissa Ward’s reporting whilst also having and showing empathy for the ones you have highlighted. I’ve seen a few reporters in broadcasts covering the situation in Afghanistan and in my opinion she has done more than a sterling job, and is worthy of praise. I’m not quite understanding the comment about her ‘coming back home’? She’s a foreign correspondent, that’s what they do. Very few, however, engage in the hands on way she has done.

That really hit home what she said, as a mother, watching other mothers struggle, throwing their babies to safety, hopefully...because when you become a mother, you kinda become a mother to all children, you don't want to see children hurt or suffering. 😔💝

At the same time, I would like to draw your attention towards our Pulitzer award winning journalist Danish Siddiqui who was killed and later on mutilated last month by the Taliban covering an Afghan army and Taliban battle. He reported from ground 0 of battle zones and and put his life at great risk for his profession. Just wanted to spread his name as a tribute to the supreme sacrifice that he made
