Great gift! Another Fractal goody to while away the hours! No excuses for bad IRs now!
First of all, as a fellow Tone Chaser, the universe of Fractal is Tone HEAVEN. Period. It's also cool to watch a player find a tone,, we can see it in your face and hear it in what and how you play. Priceless
4 or 5 minutes to get one dialed in? I admire your ability, but more importantly your lack of obsessive tweaking behavior. I would get caught in the trap of endless adjustments. This is a wonderful piece of software, but it scares me, lol.

I love you because you always play armed and ready lol. Im 33 years young and grew up with my dad playing all Michaels songs. The first time I heard you play that riff it brought a tear to my eye. Schenker is so underrated especially in the good old USA. Melody master bar none. The man can say more in his solos then any vocalist he ever had perform with him. IMO he is right there with EVH. The melodic influence he had on all the British 80s bands is undeniable
My Dad used to play that riff all the time when I was a kid so it always makes me think of him too :) I'm 35 so it sounds like we had very similar childhoods!
Good on Fractal to make this free. Was gonna buy it!
I love your videos and see every fractal related video because they have helped me to improve my tone and you give very good tips for this processor.
Talking about cabs and IRs, I definitively go with Ownhammer, I love them. I don't use fractal's and neither the new cab sim they added.

this is absolutely awesome, theoretically a great way of saving some CPU if you're used to using two blends to a Mono output, can recreate the blend on one IR position, i'll try this out
my FM3 patch is dimed atm, this'll mean i can maybe add another FX block , happy days 🥳

You can use cab lab for every IR it’s not tied to a Fractal Audio device.
It'll work with all of them :)

Eh, they can just be run on screen right next to each other. It's free, and we're already looking at our computer monitor for Edit, anyway, so I dont think that makes a difference, honestly
I literally just bought my cab lab 3 license 2 months ago. I am happy to support so screw it they made my axe fx 3 rack unit and that thing pays my bills but don't like that you can still buy cab lab 3 while a fill version of 4 is available for free. It's all on the site and kinda sketch.

ML Sound lab Mikko 2 allows to eq the overall microphones mix. This Fractal "thing" sounds really dull and unnatural. Maybe we shoud wait for a "Turbo" version of this plugin. 😂
I tested the ml demo and it was unusable, noched everiything out...

@matteomidas638 sadly it didn't sound better than ya irs and the dynacabs are better in my opinion, not that flexible but didn't need to eq nearly that much...

Eq causes phase change.
Nice tutorial!! But seems like it cannot be connected to my fx 2, feels like the whole world have abandoned those old ones🥲
You can still run the II through this and export cabs that will run in it. Set the II as the interface and run it in live mode.
