I am working in sweden and have 4 year contract, I have few questions regarding my parents and to be wife. 1) If I want to bring both of my parents can I apply for RP for 4 years for my parents?. 2) I am planning to get married in 6 months, so basically my to be wife doesn't have any documented blood relationship for now. Can I start applying for her RP from now? so that I can bring her to sweden after marriage. Other wise if I start applying for my wife's RP after marriage, she will have to wait for another 4 5 months after marriage. Having said all this can I apply for her 4yr RP from now?? Hope you can answer a few.
Thank you! 1. No, you wont be able to bring your parents for such a long time. You can apply for short term visit visa for them for 90 days! 2. For your to be wife, you wont be able to apply earlier as you need either a proof of her being your partner/not necessarily being married but atleast living together to be submitted(something like rental agreement or electricity bill etc). If you want to apply before your marriage then you need to get your marriage registration done. Otherwise you need to follow the usual process of dependent visa..Another trick to get early decision is to apply for dependent visa along with your work permit renewal application! Hope above helps you!
