We are talking serious neglect. The counseling was taken as an excuse to get the kid pushed on serious medications that would ruin their life. Kids were walking the streets vulnerable to all sorts of creeps, fights everywhere, no friends, depression, and suicide thoughts that young. The only thing that saved them was a strong male role model in their young grandfather. All things improved when he took over it all, all raising, no meds. That is the only thing I have ever seen work in that type of situation. Young mothers need to be taught so much more than getting it their way.
