I got this once and the meteor a few times in my second pit play through. I was gonna fight the secret boss, but I haven't activated him, so it was all for nothing. Oh well.
@@ChrisHinners008 bro i did this a total of three times after beating bonetail, the first time i hadn't whacked him on keelhaul key yet (which i didn't know was a requirement), and the second time i hadn't opened the mail that tells you he's down there, so i had to do the pit two extra times unnecessarily
I find it funny that they have a gigantic Bowser Statue tucked away offscreen and it only appears when you either shake the stage or Shy Guy pulls the rope
This happened to me on the secret one of the new secret bosses the remake adds (i wont say the name of the boss due to spoilers) and i couldnt have hoped for it to happen any other way
I get the Bowser Statue sometimes when farming Dark Boos for coins in Poshley Sanctum. But in my case, Shy Guy doesn’t cause it. I usually have Flurrie do Body Slam, or Bobbery use Bomb, and it just happens.
@@DeltaBlazin I'm pretty sure Whacka's attacks specifically have a high chance to trigger stage effects. I usually get at least one Meteor or Bowser Statue during that fight.
weird, i never saw any stage effects happen in my entire ttyd remake playthrough. all that ever happened were my opponents either getting frozen or burned by the flamethrower thingies

That’s just a stage hazard? I thought it was just part of the Pit of 150 Trials boss because I got it multiple times and saw Fatguy got it too
I have gotten this to happen like 10 times in the pit of 100 trials
