I just got this cart for my hobie outback. I have it set to the correct width for the bunks. Why do the hull rails that click into place always come unclicked as soon as I lower my kayak onto the cart???? The bunks unclick and tilt inwards. I am very frustrated seems like a poor design. Might have to return it and buy the yakattack cart. Very frustrating
I can't see why that's happening for you - I personally own a 2021 Outback and use this cart weekly without issue. Please email me some photos of it installed so I can see where the rails are resting ( I need to see where on the kayak hull you are using the cart) also need to see a photo of the teeth on the brackets that the rails sit on... I know how many teeth you should be able to see both inside and outside edges when setting the rails to sit in the middle third position of the kayak which is the optimal balance point. my email is jason@railblaa.com if you are setting the cart too far to the stern or the bow that might explain the issue but let's see the photos and asses from there. Regards Jason
@@talonrunner Sorry Chris - can you send us an email so we can help sort it, we know the rails dont work on the OT Sportsman hulls, interested to find out more about the AP for you as we do have a number of people using them on AP set more to the stern = info@railblaza.com
Worst purchase I’ve ever made in kayaking. My c-tug I bought 4 years ago just cannot be used. The first time I used it, the kickstand would not even hold the cart up!! Look at it the wrong way and it would tip over. Just to get the kayak on it took almost30 mins because of the shitty kickstand. Kayak would touch it as I’m laying the kayak on and guess what kickstand collapses, over and over again. In Canada where I am this piece of crap costs almost $300!!! For this massively useless piece of crap. Mine is so bad I’ve never used it again because it’s so frustrating. I wanna spend my time fishing not continually messing with a shitty non working kickstand, and the kayak slides right off. This has to be the absolute worst kayak cart in the history of kayak carts and I’m not kidding. With that purchase I feel like I got taken and ripped off. Is for that reason I’ve boycotted everything you make. Don’t trust your products, overpriced, non functional junk. Don’t know how this cart has not ruined your reputation and driven you out of business. I’ve got a $300 plastic paperweight sitting in my basement. People should avoid this cart, there are much better carts that easily accept loading of kayaks without constantly tipping over. You should really stop selling these unless you make an actual functional cart. Fool me once shame on me, there will not be a second time. One thing you notice in videos saying how good the cart is, is that nobody shows them actually loading their kayak on it, strapping it on and rolling it away, all the good reviews are just sitting there with the kayak already on it or video cut back and now it’s suddenly on it. I wonder why? I hate c-tug…just saying
Just got one and works amazing on my old town 106!! Hands down best cart I have owned!!!
Just order the Conversion Kit.
Wow well done Just what I need

I have the same issue with this cart for my Old Town Autopilot. The rails constantly collapse inward.
