Just for another opinion...I have dry acne prone skin and this struck me as very lightweight. Also, anecdotally, it didnt trigger any acne whatsoever. I do agree that the ingredient list is a little light on ceramides for a product that uses ceramide hype as advertisement
Here we go…. This is Gonna b so Helpful Sarah🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Tuesday😀….
Aw man I tried this one on my hand and LOVED it so much. I was looking for an affordable, thicker moisturizer for my dry night time skin but I’m acne prone ):
Because of your video yesterday, I bought the Ole Henriksen strength training peptide cream ✨ This Inky List cream looks nice too.
I bought this a little while ago... It's just a little nice addition to my own evening routine (final step after my retinals ) , but as far as doing anything remarkable/useful , other than hydrating/plumping, there's probably better things out there.
But,but, but ...after the first night I'd used it around my mouth , by morning ,my lips looked like the little filler-fairies had snuck in 😅 💋 I've continued to slap some on my lips a few nights a week ,like a night mask and they have definitely smoothed out. Unintended benefit, probably, but I'd buy it again just for that .
Thank you so much for this one ❤! I had it in my cart, out it goes 😜
Thank you for this review. I have been curious about this cream but wondered if it was too basic for me. I'm acne-prone and past 40.
There’s one ceramide and it’s literally after phenoxyethanol. Inkey list has been going downhill lately imo.
Once I saw that I was no longer interested in this.
Actually no, ceramides are always used in very low procentages usually under 1% to give you an example of the most well known ceramide cream - CERAVE wich are actually building their entire brand on ceramides, their cream has : phytosphingosine 0.10% - 0.35%, ceramide eop 0.50% - 1.20%, ceramide ap 0.80% - 1.20% and ceramide np 1.10% - 1.60%
Cool read here. www.cir-safety.org/sites/default/files/ceramides.pdf
And so far there isnt much data to show if more ceramides are better than just one ceramide in creams so
Sarah every time I watch one of your videos you and your skin are looking greater 😊
Oh thank you so much, you're too kind! Maybe all the billions of layers are paying off 😉😘
One thing worth trying with the vit C + moisturizer frothing problem would be waiting a bit longer between the products to make sure the vit C has sunk in before applying moisturizer. Waiting between layers helps with pilling too btw. I usually do something else simultaneously with skin care so I have something to do while products sink in. In the evening it's body care and in the morning it's breakfast.
I really wanted to like this, but I don’t like how long it takes to rub in, and I’m sure it breaks me out (Combo/oily skin prone to dehydration!)
I’ll stick to my usual COSRX Hydrium moisture power cream, which gives the right amount of hydration and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy!
I like The Inkey List but I wish they'd package this in a tube or airtight jar..
You're definitely not alone with the protini foaming 😶 even when I applied it with no other skincare products it would foam 😞 shame because I loved protini but eh at least I can use cheaper alternatives thanks to your recommendations ❤️
For anyone in the uk,Beauty Bay have this on for 15£ , at the mo(usually 18.95) .
I love BeautyBay- there are so many brands they carry that are difficult to get in the US and they always seem pretty reasonably priced.
Please can you list some moisturizer recommendations for oily but dehydrated face (that is also acne prone)
Hi! I have oily, acne prone, dehydrated skin. I've found Aveeno Calm and Restore oat gel cream moisturiser excellent but I get it on sale as it's a little pricey.
I like the Aveeno calm & restore gel cream, Kiehls ultra facial cream, and the bubble skincare slam dunk moisturizer. I avoid hyaluronic acid because it dehydrates my skin more in my dry climate. You might be able to do something heavier at night, but these moisturizers are a good light to medium gel cream for oily skin.
@@drc4168thank you for the suggestion
@@brookekasprzyk4850ok, thank you, I’ll check them out
@@thisnneka very welcome! I got fed up of trying so many different ones and spending money on different ones that ultimately broke me out!
I have that one…. and I don’t like it at all. 😅
The Inkey List has made their peptide cream unusable. It used to have an airless pump which was awesome. Now the plastic tube is so hard you can’t squeeze it out when it’s about half empty. Dumb, dumb and dumber 🤯
I have noticed that moisturizers high in ceramides make my oily skin so SLICK I can’t stand it. I could not stand the Kopari ceramide moisturizer, I had to give it away.
We don’t do minimalism in our skincare. We like a happy medium. 😊
😂 appreciate the joke
Look where Phenoxyethanol is… the ceramide is not the star! It’s less than 1%
Most ceramide moisturizers have less than 1% ceramides because they're expensive ingredients. Doesn't necessarily mean it's not efficacious based solely on percentage.
Didn’t say it wasn’t efficacious? Just simply saying it’s not the star. Also, I’m not sure what you mean by most. I’ve tried a lot of them and the majority has ceramides listed before the preservative. This is actually the first time I’ve seen it after which is why I called it out
@@Justin_Osugi purified water, squalane, glycerin, pentylene glycol, polyglyceryl-2 stearate, glyceryl stearate, stearyl alcohol, hyaluronic acid, ceramide EOP, ceramide NG, ceramide NP, ceramide AS, ceramide AP, carnosine, hydrogenated lecithin, phytosterols, caprylyl glycol, polyacrylate crosspolymer-11, 1,2-hexanediol - vanicream
@@juhnetmickerdy Being before or after phenoxyethanol isn't a strict rule for something being greater than 1%. I wasn't trying to be rude, so I'm not sure why you are coming after me.
