    Well done on your weight loss. I lost 80lbs over the past two years (multifactorial reasons) and turned my health trajectory completely around. Activity is key. Weight loss in menopause is especially hard. I feel so much better. I bet you do too :)

      Actually diet, stress management and proper sleep is key. Exercise alone won’t lead to weight loss. I should know. I lost 33lbs over X weeks time as I had to due to diabetes type 2. Exercise helps, but is not the driving factor. You can eat like shit and exercise, look skinny, but be fat on the inside.
      I too had to cut sugar, no more candy, junk, soda, juice etc. I stopped eating red meat, gluten/wheat, white rice and potatoes. Only chicken, salmon, venison, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, popcorn, grapes and blue berries, and no diary as I’m allergic…

    • @pamelagileno5483

      @@kilipaki87oritahiti I wasn't saying exercise alone will do it. It certainly helps however.
      Exercise is shown thought be very important for our longevity and yes, so are all the things you mention.

      @@pamelagileno5483I agree. Physically activity is the key for many people. I eat very healthy, not a huge meat eater for last 12 years, but over the pandemic I gained 20 lbs. I started exercising, lost half the weight. Stopped, gained it back. I’m just someone who has to move in order to maintain a healthy weight.

    The Skin 1004 Tone brightening ampoule is really good, I was dealing with both excessive oil and also acne, this ampoule only takes about 1-2 nights to see the difference. And it's light so I can apply moisturizer on top.

    The tone brightening ampoule is good, but I can’t use it when my skin barrier is compromised because of the little capsule beads in it. They can be a bit abrasive and are somewhat difficult to completely dissolve in the hands prior to application, so it can sting with application. But the ingredients are great (txa + 3-o-ethyl ascorbic acid) and it works well paired with BOJ rice + arbutin serum.

    I was just reading somewhere about where the protein in hair/skin products used to come from and it was the matter surrounding pig’s bellies or something like that! I think it mentioned it’s still used but there are other ways to source it now. 🤢I just noticed my Skin1004 I just bought has an image you can see on the other side of the label. I really like their packaging. Simple so it’s so affordable but it’s elegant & pretty at same time. Curious about the Isntree onion stuff. Thanks for tipping us off on azleaic acid, it’s really taking off.

  • @Storm411z
    @Storm411z 3 месяца назад

    I wanted to love the Nineless Azelaic acid serum so bad but it did nothing for me :( I suspect they use an AA derivative since it’s a clear serum. Same with Cos de Baha (though I did see some results with that one).
    Paula’s Choice, Drunk Elephant, and now trialing Peach Slices AA have all given me great results for preventing pore congestion (blackheads and sebaceous filaments) and improving my skin barrier (face so soft 😍)

    You look amazing!!! Over the pandemic I gained 20 lbs and my doctor suggested off label effects of meds to lose weight. I don’t want to do that, so I’ve cut back on refined carbs and plan to start my gym routine. Thanks for the inspiration!!! It’s awesome when people share how they’ve lost weight and it’s not Ozempic or the others. ❤

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  3 месяца назад +1

      Lol, I wish I could have afforded ozempic. I think if you're type two diabetic you can get insurance to pay for it. Crazy, my insurance with cameraman is $800 a month with a $9000 deductible. Even my imitrex wasn't covered and they wanted $460 for it. Eventually I went to Mark Cuban's Drug Prescription Program and was able to get it for $30. Victory!!! I think my biggest thing with weight loss was cutting out soda all together and walking at least 10,000 steps a day helped. That being said, it's been two years and the progress has been slow but steady. I really appreciate my Renpho Scale too!

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  3 месяца назад +1

      Here's info on the scale I use: renpho.com/collections/renpho-scales
      I find it helpful, I have the body scale, the food scale, and the tape measurer. Cameraman switched to straight up keto only and he lost about 60 pounds in a couple of years.

    I have never been disappointed by any product from Skin1004. I am hoping that G&G will come out with an A-Game 20 with 0.2% retinal like TO’s new product. I do like TO’s 0.2% retinal, I have been mixing a very small amount to my G&G A-Game 10 because my mature dry/dehydrated skin is sensitive due to rosacea. I will slowly increase the amount of 0.2% retinal as my skin tolerates it. I happily made the change to retinal about 18 months ago, I found it to be less irritating than retinol, although I have very slowly increased the percentage in that time.

    Sephora screwed us again with the ordinary products so I checked to see if they are on sale 20% off as well for the sale NOPE I took everything out of my cart added the Marine HA serum and put the code in and it said that code doesn't work on product in ur cart ..LoL so all these people are adding Ordinary products to their cart with the rest of their products not knowing they are not getting a discount at all . I love how u get all these products and use like everyone at once 😂 it's so real like so many of us do that kinda thing because we get excited but I learned my lesson on anything with exfoliating ingredients or retinol in it and I don't make that mistake anymore.
