I grew up listening to the Heritage singes. As a child, I discerned uncle Max's presence in their ministry even though I've never met him in person. I am sad; but I have hope that I will meet him some day when Christ comes to take his people home.

My heart goes out to the entire Mace family and all the Heritage Singers, past and present. I'm so very sorry for your loss ... Tears are a language God understands. Val, my heart especially goes out to you. Don't know if you'll see this, but you once gave me comfort after a Heritage concert during a meet and greet at the Garden Grove church, during which I was in tears. You glanced my way and immediately came over to talk with me. You asked me why I was crying, and you gave me a hug and such words of encouragement. Hard to believe that's been almost nine years ago! Your father has left a wonderful legacy and because He loved and served the Lord, we will see him again. What a day that will be -- our first Sabbath afternoon concert in Heaven and watching you, your parents, and the Heritage Singers sing directly to Jesus! Oh what joy! I'm so sorry (my grandmother died on 4.11.2020 in 81 years - died of coronavirus)... I remember when your band had a concert for the first time in the Czech Republic. It was great and I hope that we all get together in heaven to sing together!
