Thank you for sharing your experience. It is not uncommon to see the development of what we call epidermal inclusion cysts or milia following surgery, including upper eyelid surgery. These typically resolve themselves over time. We recommend that patients begin to use a washcloth more vigorously when washing their faces in the evening. If the cysts do not go away, we encourage you to see your facial plastic surgeon, who can "unroof" these with a little 18g needle. Rest assured, these cysts are not permanent and are simply an annoyance that will improve. Thank you for your question!

I had upper and lower blepharoplasty and I keep getting cysts! Why is this?
