Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. It's incredibly important to us that we provide an authentic view of the physical, emotional, and psychological recovery processes. The purpose of these videos is to set appropriate expectations and give patients a realistic understanding of what to expect. We are deeply grateful to patients like Chris and many others who are willing to be completely honest and share their journeys. In today's world, where AI and digital modifications can be made so easily, authenticity is more important than ever. Our patients tend to have a wonderful experience when they are well-informed about every step of the process. We appreciate your comment, as it reflects the goal we strive for. Interestingly, we have more and more patients who choose to share their own journeys because they have found that understanding others' experiences has helped them immensely. Thank you again for your support and recognition!
Be patient! It does take some time to look and feel great! Generally by the time you've reached 4-6 weeks postoperatively, you should be enjoying your results immensely.
I am having the deep plane face lift with lower eyelid bleph and fat grafting, in January. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I was mostly concerned about pain, and am happy to hear you say, not much pain at all if any. I know everyone is different but I am thinking positively that I will have similar experience. By the way, you look great! Congratulations.
Your video has been so helpful and I hope you know how important it is for people. I am 5 days post surgery and just beginning to accept what I have done! I see some improvements in my areas of concern - I hear you on the dimples!! My dimples are gone currently so I am glad they come back!!
I watched you recovery and I had the opposite effect of your daughter I thought that for a deep plane procedure you looked fantastic first day you went home. I heal quickly so you gave me a lot of hope that in 10 days I would heal as well as you did. Thank you for posting!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad you found the step-by-step process helpful. When I was preparing for my facelift and eyelid surgery, I found it difficult to find detailed information on what to expect during recovery. That’s why I decided to share my journey, hoping it would help others who are considering these procedures. Your feedback means a lot to me!
Day 4 post op and grateful for the emotional support. The chipmunk cheeks and tightness has been scary. So happy to hear the dimples come back. I miss my smile lines. I was scared the lower left would change the dimensions of my entire face, but it sounds like they come back.
I am so happy to have found this. I am four days out and I look like a football or alien, I was so scared when I saw it yesterday and I missed my old self, I thought I made a mistake doing this. Very happy to see that it is normal.
The results look great, no doubt. Overall, a huge improvement. But I wonder if there is a way to perform these procedures without altering the earlobe as much? If you look at the before and after, you can see the earlobe position has changed. This procedure is already 99% unnoticeable. If someone could just figure out how to avoid those little tells it would be perfect.
there's a doctor in California "the ponytail doctor" that does a type of stitch or something to prevent that very thing. I'm debating] on who to choose because that is really important to me too
@@Sweetiesplanet Dr Kao, the ponytail lift, aka an endoscopic facelift. Results are impressive, but I fail to see how lifting from the top would address the jowls, and that was my main concern. I'm sure I would look 30 if I had added the ponytail lift to my lower mini lift, but I didn't have the money to address every aging aspect.
thank you so much for this. I'm on day 11 and experiencing the firmness and numbness, wondering how long it would take. It does feel good knowing that I need to be patient and wait until the 5-6 week mark,
The 5-6 week mark does seem to be a big turning point. It was for me. Ive learned that this really does take more time to heal and that I needed to be patient. But wow.. I love the results! You will too!
I think some nerves are still damaged that’s the scary thing about facelift, I heard a surgeon saying that after a facelift he doesn’t sleep the night after cause of the consequences on the nerves , got scared from that day and after seeing her before pictures I think she looked beautiful and didn’t need it at all
Hi good afternoon and thank you so much for sharing this information. I'm considering doing a vertical facelift and of course I'm a little bit concerned for the process. Your comments helps a lot. Thanks 🙏👏🏼🌹
What is so annoying is having your words going across the screen, interfering with seeing how well you're healing. I noticed quite a few videos do this. Ya'll need to stop this.
Just going under anathesia is a risk. I couldn't imagine going under anathesia unless it was for a surgery I had to have for my health. Especially if you have children. What message does it send. You can't stop the aging process.
This Advanced Facelift is performed under local anesthesia - therefore it does not have the risks associated with IV sedation or general anesthesia. In fact, it is one of the reasons patient elect to undergo this type of facial rejuvenation procedure.
I swore I would never get a facelift. I thought like you did. But my kids are in their 40s now. Also, for many years I weighed 300 pounds. I've lost 145 pounds and my face collapsed. So I have not seen "me" in 30 years. I don't want a facelift to make me look 20 again, I'd just like to see my face again as I am nearing 65 and feel very negatively about my jowls, my marionnette lines, and severely hooded eyes. I can barely see out of my right eye now. For me it's not a vanity thing, it's a lift my spirits up kind of thing. Get back to me when you are 65 and see if you've changed your mind.
I felt the dissection and cutting on my right side. Didn't hurt, just felt it. Apparently i was too vocal about it, so they extra numbed me for the left side, lol.
@Araunah777 Exactly. Let them get back to us when they're 55 or 65. I, too, swore that I would age naturally. But when I started developing jowls, that's when I looked into doing something about it. I was losing the face I had had my entire adult life, my identity. As for anesthesia, i certainly wouldn't have done it under general. But local under IV sedation was a wonderful experience.
Would you do it again! You look amazing!! Wondering if Dr. Mendelssohn is related to Dr. David Mendelssohn? Just curious that’s all. Thank you so much!! Susan
Hi. Thank you. Yes. These are some of the best treatments to restore a more youthful appearance. No. There is not a relationship between the Doctors. Thank you!
@@drjonmendelsohn Hello, I was wondering if Dr. Mendelssohn does consults over Zoom since I live in Canada? May I call your office? And, would you be so kind and give me your number so that I could speak to Dr. Mendelssohn office assistant? . Many thanks, Susan from Canada. Have an excellent day!
A good doctor should be able to provide you with a consult over zoom. I, too, live in Canada, and I had my WhatsApp consult with a doctor in Europe. He obviously had to see me in person the day before the procedure (which allowed him to tweak the procedure we were going for), but the video consult was great. I am so happy to have done this.
I really respect that they showed this video, letting her be totally honest with all of it 👌

I am one week out and in that "what have I done?" stage. This video has helped me so, so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Same here. Very helpful as I feel totally alien and do NOT look like me. "I want me back again" stage...

It's thanks to videos like this that i am skipping the "what have i done" phase. I look like a potato head right now, lol.
How do you look now? How long did it take? I'm having mine done Friday and I'm very very nervous.

How did it go? How long did it take to heal or look somewhat normal? I'm having my procedure on Friday and I'm freaking out.
Kudos to your before and after. 1st great work and 2nd Thank you for good comparison- same make up, same hair down & same expression. Well done!! 😊

I’m so excited to have this done
I have had a previous facelift, and that numbness lasted me for about a year
@Patsy Cline. I believe you. neurons can take quite a long time to heal! Well worth! Take care, Susan
I think the numbness after my c section lasted 10-20 years so I know what you're talking about
Was there any fat transfer done?

Insignificant price to pay. As long as i still have earlobes and no pixie ear, I'm good.

Did this procedure included lifting the fascia or just the skin?
It’s deep plane so I think they lift the smas not only the skin
Why is her left eye lazy to open and close and was it like that before the procedure?
