Being a malay and get invited to weddings every week is kinda hard sometimes. Sometimes its like friend of my father's child wedding, mom's cousin's child, my friend's sister wedding in that single day at weekend. You'll get that much invitations it feels like there's wedding season. I'm still single at 31 tho
Im feel so glad you gals were invited cause I also feel the same Justina....THE MOST BEAUTIFUL wedding Ive ever seen in life....And Micha we appreciate your words about owning 2 Baju Kurung....Hopefully next time a chinese or indian friend can invite you gals to join the different culture wedding ceremony as well....If I have one future you gals will be my top invite VIP list for sure....haha...
Love to see you guys eat... like pro... no complaining n whining... seems like you eating your own food. Good job girls. With a good manners like yours, local will love you more.
Many blessings to the bride and groom, GOD bless them and their families. I wish I could attend a Malaysian wedding. Thanks girls and Anna GOD bless you all ❤️
Omg. This was really a grand experience yeah! Hope u got to experience the more traditional one while you in malaysia. And im gonna said this once again, both of you looks beautiful with the kurung. micha really suits that purple color. For real.
Beautiful wedding and lovely couple. Micha and Justina, you both are very lucky to be invited, an experience of a lifetime...to be etched in your memories. Congratulations to the newly weds, wishing you both a blissful marriage.
Wow! That was quite the do! And you two looked stunning in your baju kurungs! Cheers, Ladies! :: edit :: also, after watching this I had to cook some chicken rendang for lunch.
hi girls... wow... amazing wedding.. thank you for this amazing video.. now... you girls have seen the morden malay wedding... you need to see the more traditional malay wedding in " kampung" (village)... with the "marhaban", "silat performance" and so on... so please anyone whose getting married in "kampung" ...please.. please invite these girls to see our kampung culture... peace...🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
even in the kampung now, they opt out some of the ceremonies, no more silat performance, marhaban too (xcept they are doing majlis khatam quran), joget lambak has also been cut...even berbalas pantun, toll payment, adat merenjis and ambor-ambor are rarely to be seen now
Actually "wali" wasn't the male person who own the girl, but they are the one who responsible for the girl, it usually her father, or it can be her grandfather, her uncle or her brother, And based on your video there is a lot of our tradition that you missed, like "silat sembah, pantun seloka, zapin, palang pintu" and few more Anyway it's good to see other appreciate our tradition, while some of us discarding it, good videos Well done
This is more mix of modern wedding. Traditional one have varieties.. Depends on each region.. Even Malay have different style of wedding, the smalls different.
As a Malaysian I am proud of this video.......For me this wedding is kind of the "expensive" example. Come to the villages and experience a truly "kampung style" wedding.....a bit less lavish but still colorful and exciting.
not so xpensive or lavish, even kampung wedding is now expensive, because they use catering, rarely seen people "merewang" now, and the invites will go to 2000 and more, rental for the tents are also high....
its supposed to have another ceremony at grooms side called sambut menantu means welcoming in laws to the grooms family , so basically after the reception the bride's family will send their daughter to the grooms family and hand the bride's over to the grooms family and its also a closing for the whole process..
Cheers to Friday everyone!!!!!!
Likewise to both of you too ❤️. Thanks for another great vlog sharing 👍. As usual ~ Cheers To Freedom 😘.
Happy Friday ladies
You guys look pretty wearing baju kurung 😍😘
Thank you
In Malay, both of them are called raja sehari(king/queen for a day)...that explains the luxurious arrangement of the function

Thomas Paine actually when you stumble upon a malay wedding just ask the host permission to join in.. no harm asking.
@@haddii1624 well in my village, if they see random people passing by, they would call them to join the feast 😁 we always do it outdoor tho
The best part of Malay wedding is the singing! When you and and family tirelessly plan a wedding for months , its only natural to have some kareoke!!!
Wonderful. I wonder if they have a theme for their wedding reception.
And both of you look stunning in the traditional dress.
Our theme was inspired to P. Ramlee & Saloma
The theme are back to 1960
Yes we do have a theme and as in the video, their theme was based from the 50's-60's malay

Wait. I just notice minutes 8:40 is that Jari? He was famous back then in Msia.
I don't know if it's a KL thing but it's a pretty standard wedding package nowadays.
Even the layout is the same apart from the colours.
Mostly love English theme decor mixed with local effect...
Yea.. Layout a little similar to the Chinese but in red colour
beautiful wedding 😍
U look gorgeous with that lipsticks!
Spotted Jari. Malaysia saxophonist.
Wind instrument sounds good!:)
I hope you enjoy Malay wedding....

Yep. Lipstick 😅
I think u forgot to put some brown sugar onto the cendol.i guess it taste really weird,😂😂😅
The cendol was already pre made, there was a stall where the lady was making it. The brown sugar was at the bottom and I think it was melted already 😅
