Excellent video! I've loved watching this channel, and have been learning plenty o' stuff. I've got a 97 L400, so a lot of your content has been super relevant!

Great videos. Looking forward to seeing the new hitch design. Although I am now in Germany, my family is still back in Canada, and I can always ask them to bring a hitch on the plane next they come visit :-) Note: I will still have to find a way to navigate the EU regulations to get the hitch certified, but I will worry about that when the time comes.

Big thumbs up! My 2007 Pajero arrives next week, so hoping an outlander hitch bolts right on to it too. Will be watching for your upcoming hitch videos d. Subscribed! You and your wife have a great presentation style.

Thank, glad you are enjoying :)
You will likely find the Pajero to be different than the outlander. For the first chunk of its life the Delica shared it's under pinnings with Pajero. When the D5 came about the Paj and Delica split way, with the Pajero remaining a true offroader and the Delica becoming more tame. The outlander/delica is based of a car chassis (lancer) while the Pajero remained based on a truck chassis. However if you do try be sure to let us know the outcome as I would very curious.

Damn - you’re right - even the exhaust is on the opposite (left) side than the D5. Kinda funny there tow points are welded to a long bar that runs all the way side to side. Good times!

    Cool video.
I just got a D5 imported to Vancouver. Is it easy to make the headlight DRL? Any tips? Thanks

I wish I watched this BEFORE I pulled apart the interior to get to the harness from the inside. So much had to come out to get behind that left hand side light. On the interior, just behind the lights there is a pass through grommet and a 'spare' connector just below it. I am guess it is designed for a towbar harness. About to hit it with test light. I suspect with practice and the right shaped tool to hold it, you could plug in from the outside.

Anyone have done trailer hitch for 2008 Mazda Biante?
