    OMG - i love how you were able to show where you keep all your 'stuff'. I also like how you shove a myriad of random items all over the place. Its really cool how you decided that you needed to carry 2 different bikes and helmets in such a small space. Very organized and realistic living demo of van life.

      @@darcyandtessthanks for posting. I think you are the only ones on RUclips with a Ridgeline. Was seriously considering buying one, but I am not so sure now. Looks like they are having issues, which is fine, but their refusal to own up to it and fix it is a big problem for me.

    Beautiful scenery, but mud city! Good overview video with overflowing cabinets (the shower caddy is crazy full).

      The dogs track in so much dirt. Kinda sucks with a white floor.

    I almost went with the rangeline. That's one classy vehicle.

      What did you get otherwise? And what steered you to that purchase over the rangeline?

      @@darcyandtess Right now I own the Winnebago Solis 59p with couch floor plan. The pop up roof tent steered me as well as having no AC on top. The house I am renting, I needed that AC delete stealth option to not tick off the HOA while parked in the driveway. Otherwise I would have gone with the van from legendary Airstream.

    Great and informative video...and I adore your doggies! Question on the bed: Would you be able to leave the bed down "permanently", or would it rattle too much/cause harm to whatever it lays on/hooks onto? Thanks for your very helpful video!

    • @darcyandtess
      @darcyandtess  9 месяцев назад +1

      We leave it down all the time. Only lift it to clean or organize really. We drive a lot of gravel bumpy stuff and no issues with the rattle. I will have to keep inspecting the hooks to see if they wear out over time.

    Very awesome vehicle thanks for the walkthrough. Im seriously considering but worry about a lot of the recall and quality issues i see about this one online. How has your experience been with the reliability of everything? Thanks for the great info!

    • @darcyandtess

      Hey Scott, Thanks for watching. Our experience has been below mediocre, with the dealerships struggling to learn the new programs and function of the Rangeline mixed with Airstreams lack of support to the dealers, we have been on the run around with the same issues over and over since we bought it in May. I have been to multiple dealers with no luck. I would be very skeptical if you have a sales person saying that they can have it ready by purchase date once you do purchase and voice your concerns. It seems airstream rushed this one and the first purchasers are paying for it. Unless airstream covers my cost for travel, cost for time to dick around. I will not be recommending this van for anyone who wants to get in and go on a trip. That's just our experience.

    Would you buy this van again?

    • @darcyandtess
      @darcyandtess  3 месяца назад

      The layout is so good, for the price and simplicity of most of it, I think yes. But I haven’t looked at everything out there. My dream would be a custom build. I’ve also heard good things about panoramic vans.
